Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a brisk Thursday morning.  With Thanksgiving a week away, I hope everyone doesn't go crazy shopping the day after and creating havoc in preparation for Christmas.  Enjoy the holidays with your family and friends like the ole' days.  We'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening doing just that and seeing how everyone is surviving "Mother Nature".  Enjoy all and smoke a favorite or two if you get the chance........ :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0430 as always and it's Friday!  We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, we enjoyed primo stogies and saw ole' friends and met some new ones as well.  Hope everyone has a great weekend, smoke a favorite or two and "Go Army, Beat Fordham"........  :)   :thumbs:   :cool: 
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a sunny Sunday morning here in the Hudson Valley.  Congrats to Army for winning yesterday in the final home football game over Fordham.  Hopefully they can do the same in a couple of weeks down in Baltimore and finally beat Navy for a change.  Anyway, we got plenty of NFL, NHL and NBA on the television today, so enjoy everyone and smoke a favorite or two or....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a windy and wet Monday morning.  Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles and to the New York Rangers on their decisive wins.   I see that we have a winter weather watch for Wednesday into Thursday morning.  The weather guessers over at NOAA are predicting roughly 10 inches throughout the 24 hour period.

Snow Policy (Non-emergency positions)
 
 
"WEST POINT IS CODE WHITE UNTIL (stated time, or, all day)."The West Point Snow Policy is in effect until the stated time, or all day. Employees, who might be prevented from reporting to work, should be granted annual leave, accrued compensatory time or LWOP if they prefer. Employees still need to contact their supervisor for approval. Specific procedures for requesting leave in these circumstances are at the discretion of each activity.
 
"WEST POINT IS CODE RED UNTIL (stated time)." Employees should not report until the announcement time. Supervisors will excuse absences without charge to leave for all employees affected whether or not leave was previously approved. Employees who do not report for work by the announced time will be charged leave for the remainder of their absence if it was properly requested and approved.
 
"WEST POINT IS CODE RED ALL DAY." Only employees in emergency positions should report to work. Employees in non-emergency positions should not report to work until their next regularly scheduled workday.

Good Thanksgiving morning everyone, the coffee is on and the turkey will be going in the oven shortly.  We have 11 relatives coming over for dinner and a few more for desert afterwards.  We got a good 10" to 12" of snow yesterday, I went out twice to shovel but it snowed a little through the night so I'll be going back out it a bit to clean the cars and the drive.  Once that's done, I'll watch the parade on the television and afterwards get ready for some football.  Hope everyone has a great day and  remember to say a prayer for all our soldiers, sailors and airmen in harms way especially our wounded warriors....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning or should I say good day.  Had a great time yesterday with 17 of us at the house enjoying the holiday and all.  Congrats to the Eagles for beating the Cowboys 33 to 10 in Dallas.  Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend, my son Jeremy and his wife Christen are coming up from Delaware today to spend the weekend.  Enjoy....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:

Good morning all, the Killer Beans Espresso coffee is on and it's breezy Sunday morning here in the Hudson Valley.  Spent a few hours yesterday at Schlesinger's with the guys smokin' cigars while enjoying fresh bagels and coffee.  Beth and I got the Christmas lights up and decorated the tree as well.  Today we're going over to West Point to watch the WP Band do their annual Holiday show and then head back to Cornwall for the Christmas Street festival and tree lighting.  Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Monday morning already.   Well, the Eagles lost yesterday and the Cowboys won giving us the same record again 9 - 4.  The two teams play each other next Sunday in Philly which will most likely determine who wins the division.
