Is someone doing Fourier series expansion here?

O boy, math homework!

I'm #6 so I have cigars 11 & 12.

11) LADC Mi Amore Beli

Holts - 184.95/25 = 7.40

Smoke Inn - 195/25 = 7.80

CI - 185.95/25 = 7.44

Avg = 7.55

12)Fuente 858 maduro

Holts - 117.95/25 = 4.72

Smoke Inn - 106.95/25 = 4.29

CI - 114.50/25 = 4.58

Avg = 4.53

WHEW!

I never would have imagined there were too many folks interested in breaking down a periodic signal in search of an aggregate set of oscillating functions here on CP...well, not unless they were trying to figure out how to correctly radiate the perfect amount of heat needed to smoke ribs or brisket!  :laugh:

The use of that equation to determine how to factor in MSRP as an instrument in determining the correct price of a cigar was like trying to nail down the ever changing (but constant) sine wave...aka: my version of the Chaos Theory of Cigar Pricing.....yeah, a weird inside my head joke.

Being a mathematician, something like that is what intrigues me.  Please tell me it's not a "Sine of Madness."

I met a mathematician sunbathing.  He was a real tan gent.

I guess that's enough off topic for now, hopefully this pass will start up soon!

Out of respect for the host, I did not find the #28 as specifically as "Don Pepin Garcia Original Invicto" at any three sources of the approved sources. I found two sources under the Original label as posted. Based on information indicating that the Blue label is the same cigar, I provided the pricing on the Blue label separate from the Original label as I did locate three sources for pricing on the Blue label. I chose this method to allow the host to determine if the Blue label is an acceptable cigar for the pricing comparison.

This is why we're only using the vendors I have listed. Everyone will get consistent pricing on their trades.

Man, I can't believe it's been so long since my first pass. Good on you for hosting these, Jonesy.

Alright guys, I just finished up working my 6th 12 hour shift in 7 days so I'll be able to spend a little more time here. I'll check out the pricing you guys have done and then I'll fire up the first contest.

Contest #1 which is easy and will lead to part #2 (of the same contest). The cigar at the very right of my desktop that is misspelled is from 1998. At the time of me taking this picture (about 5 years ago) I put this certain cigar away for a reason. Be the first to correctly guess why and I'll send you to part #2!
