I owe a couple of reviews!!

I smoked #4 before I went on vacation
I couldn't find my notes so I will have go from my feeble memory :laugh:
The cigar was corona / robusto size natural wrapper.
well constructed. The cigar burned well with a light grey ash.
The flavor was "ok" tobacco nothing great, but not bad.

#5 I had last evening
corona sized medium brown wrapper.
The cigar felt smooth to the touch. It seemed soft and I thought it would burn hot
Lit well and the burn was even, better than I had thought it would be.
lots of smoke with a pleasant taste.
I liked this cigar and wouldn't mind having more

Bill,

Number 4 and 5 were both dollar cigars, although I think number 5 you would recognize the name and someone else in a previous post also smoked one and liked it. Thanks for the reviews.

On it's way to me? Yeah, can't wait. I'll try to give you my proposed p's & t's tomorrow eve.

Shibumi have fun with the pass.

As you know we had one person drop out as the pass was starting, since I have an extra bag we will now make room for the replacement that will be added on the end.....Gandolf!

heh heh...
I was wondering about #5 it didn't look or feel like a great cigar,
but it did have a nice flavor. Good for a quick smoke especially at $1 :cool:

s'up Jeff? :)

Sorry guy's just got this today. I am taking inventory now and it will go out tomorrow. I will post my P & T's in a few.

My proposed p's & t's. I sent a PM to golfgar, waiting for a reply.

P= La Flor Dominicana Factory Press Churchill
T= AF Signature Maduro

P= Tatuaje Reserva J21
T= AF Cuban Beli SG

P= Ramon Allones 898 Varnished 01
T= Partagas PSD 4

No word from Larry, so I will hold this overnight and send out tomorrow. Assuming all is good with the host.

It all looks good to me. Thanks for playing and can't wait to see some tasting notes on those tasty (well some of them anyway) treats! :laugh:

On it's way to Tom (Hudsonvalley) DC# 0303 3430 0000 1730 4605

Proposed P/T:
t: 4. AF Chateau Fuente p:Ghurka Regent Robusto
t: 9. 858 Maduro p: RASCC
t: 16. Opus X Double Corona p: Padron 1926 #2 Maduro

Man this makes me nervous. I really have trepidation in the p/t value. Please comment, Larry. But I guess if you don't get nervous about a pass maybe it is taken a little too lightly. I understand the isom for isom is not a concern in this pass as it usually is.

I am looking forward to getting this!

What exactly makes you nervous, the pt's look fine to me. :cool:

Very generous Tom. You worry too much. Ex-Wives will do that to a fella.

Maybe I do worry too much. But a pass is something I don't take lightly. It is other peoples stuff that I get to look at, admire, and make a trade with. My first pass I think I did not do a good enough job packing, the next one was pretty disorganized by the time it got to me.

Ok Larry, I smoked the petit corona in the Epsilon (label missing) bag. Lit this up for an after lunch smoke. First thing I noticed was the huge volumes of smoke this cigar provided. From the start the flavor reminded me of the lower end ISOM's I've tried. Nice flavor med-full. The burn was even with a thick carbon ring (I think that means cheap?). If this was a $1 cigar, I want to buy a bundle. They are a real tasty, quick cigar with TONS of smoke, which I like. Towards the end I had a slight problem with the wrapper, but it was already a done deal!

Edit to add that I smoked #3 on the way home from work. That ain't no dollar ceegar! My straight up guess without any review? LG Diez Cubano?

Got it today! Gonna let it sleep overnight in my humi/cooler. Am adding a printout for p and t and will look this over, try to to drool into the box and send it to you, Eric.

Eric, you have your addy in profile so I am set, now. If anyone further down the pass doesn't have their's in their profile maybe PM it to the guy ahead of you now instead of waiting for it later. I did not realize this and was just going to turn it around in the PO parking lot using an enclosed address list... Couldn't do it. There is no address list in the box.
