Dave,
Sorry about the link. The cigar reviews are submitted my members of Cigar Weekly. They're ordninary people that love to smoke. The trinidad only comes in one size, a long panatela. It gets 5 out of a possible 5 stars. Here are some of the comments submitted by members:
"Simply, the best." The Trinidad Fundadore is cigar perfection, a true celebration of the tabacalera?s art. The construction and quality are second to none. The flavor profile undergoes subtle but distinct changes that make for a very memorable smoke. This is the benchmark that all other cigars should be measured against.
"World Class!! " One of the best Habanos in current production. Medium strength with a rich, well balanced flavor. Produces volumes of dense smoke and a lingering finish. Well made, beautifully packaged, high priced....Worth it!
"Definitely lived up to the Hype" Not much to say, but probably hands down the best cuban cigar out in the market right now. If you want flavor, complexity, and strong cigar this baby is for you. Can?t wait until they release the new sizes. According to my sources, a Robusto is in the work. Can we say 5 stars.
"A must have!" Just an incredible cigar. Splurge and treat yourself to a box of this benchmark habano.
"Delicious" I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful, flavorful smoke. As with most Cubans getting ink, I expected a knockdown punch, and I didn?t get it. Instead I got a tasty, smooth cigar which put up billowing clouds of smoke. Yet, I didn?t get that charred finish or aftertaste. A great cigar, beautifully constructed, a Happy New Year treat.
The cigar is a bit pricey to keep as a regular smoke, but it's a great celebration stick! I hope you like it.
