CP's "Cigar 101" Newbie Pass 5

Take: #2 Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No.2 - $10.75
Put: #55 Anejo Shark (09)- $10.25

This is the only one that raises a question. In my very limited knowledge, the Anejo Shark is much more rare than the Don Carlos, so that should make up for the price difference. I'm ok with your p/t selections, I'm just hoping to learn a little more on this one.

You read my mind on that one. I feel pretty confident that the rarity on the shark will make up the difference. If not I'm sure Greg (or anyone with more knowledge than I) will let me know.

There's a rarity value definitely added to the Anejo with none being on the DC, but it's not the rarity that would put it past the DC as far as price IMO. How much are Sharks actually going for now days? I'm sure there are a number of sales that have had Sharks in them as of late....somewhere.

I paid 12.50 for the Shark.
If its off that much I can change to something a little closer and make another taketo still keep the shark in the pass.

(The BTL for instance)

No, you're definitely good with the Shark put for the DC. That's what I was saying, that Sharks are definitely going for more than MSRP...unless you get really lucky. :whistling:

Correct me if im wrong but a #55 is not a Shark.

You would be correct, however in this case I believe that is the bag number.

And you folks that can get Sharks for even near MSRP suck. The B&M that I frequent most still has about 15 in a box from last year, since they are almost $30. :/

I think Jim's done a fine job with his PT's!

P.S. Thanks for grabbing that LFD Lancero so I might be able to put one back in. - Is that acceptable? To put something into the box that was previously in there?

Perfectly fine

Man, i feel like I am in school with all that I am learning!

Thanks guys!

I don't think we would be able to do the hand off anytime soon because of my schedule. We planned it for sometime tonight but I have to go to my kids open school night and the next couple of days doesn't look too promising either. I informed Chester's brother (the guy who took the untold story) that we'd be better off him mailing it.

Not a problem. I will do my picks today and get it out tonight or tommorow. I will post a DC# when i get it.

Greg (or other exp. members) -

What do you go by for something that's not listed in the cigarcyclopedia? Such as the Oliva V Maddie?

If i remember correctly the Oliva V maddies were around $80.00 for a box of 10

Jim! Takes/Puts approved, excellent job brother! Thanks for playing!

First post has been updated, waiting for the pass to land. Daniel, you're up whenever you're ready. No rush as it'll be a little while before the box makes it to you.

Edit to add that I missed where the pass had landed on the 19th. Where we at with getting it back out to Los? Also, what's it costing to ship?
