CP's "Cigar 101" Newbie Pass 4

Great, I will have a look at my put and takes and get something posted up in the next couple of days. I have already spoken to Chester and we agreed to meet up for him to hand the pass off to me once we get to that point. looking forward to this.

I am back home from my short biz trip and found the box of cigars from Northernmorris/Mike warm and cozy inside. I will chat with Mrrt/Art to meet w/ him and/or get them in the mail ASAP.

Can you update the list of cigars that is available for download? It seems that it is only update to #57, missing a few p/t's.

Lets build a scenario for a second. Lets say that had the Opus dc been of an equal msrp to the Padron #9, And there was already an Opus dc in the pass. Then would the take/put of the Opus dc been allowed??

In this pass I would say prob not since it is a learning pass. But in other passes I would say it would be up to the host. It doesn't matter if it is a Opus X DC or a PMM, it all depends whether the people/host in the pass would want it.

I would've voted yes, leave it in. Just cause I wanted it. :cool:
 
While you want, always, as much variety in a pass as possible, I think exceptions to that will generally fly for Opus X and high end Padrons, just because no one's likely to be bummed to see 'em in the box. :laugh:

Always up to the host of course, but as long as we're not talking a more than a double, good for more than one person down the line to have a shot at 'em. :whistling:

Are your prices online/retail or from the link provided?
 
the Comp Shopper for my puts, for the takes i used what was previously accepted as puts, except the Padilla, on this one, I used the comp shopper.
 
I think these looks good but given past rullings the Davidoff Millennium Robusto Tubo $15.99 is on the generous side.

I'm getting $10.21 for the J21 when I run it, and couldn't find the OMB III on the Comparison Shopper. It's on CI at 10.78, box price.

The Partagas 160, on the other hand, I come up with 15.77 for on the Comparison Shopper, and 17.78 for the Decadas IV.

Ah now see, this is where I get myself in trouble. I didn't do any searching on Jorel's T/P's as I already knew they were good, but had no idea that Partagas was THAT good.

Padilla '68 $5.35 / DPG $6.63 - Good
Oliva MB III $10.25 / Tat Res J21 $10.21 - .04 under, good enough
Partagas D IV $18.12 / Party 160 $15.77 - No good
Camacho 10th $10.94 / Davi Mille $16.24 - Good
