Cops, Lawyers, Outlaws, and Asshats!

No worries Joe, take your time and get it out as soon as you have a chance. I believe there should be a sheet in pass with the address on it, but I will PM you to make sure it’s correct. I see no problem with your puts and takes, so I would say they are good.

I picked up the pass at the P.O. this morning. The box is in very rough shape. I'll replace it and get this out tomorrow after an inventory. Got the thumbs up from Jon so let's get this rolling.

So, it appears I screwed up and sort of...ummm....forgot to take simmsboard's TAKES out of the pass

Vinnyvega, if you still have the pass could you remove these 2 and send them to me?

I'll PP you the shipping charges pronto.

Sorry for the hassle all.

That Padron for RdC is the only one I would question. I know that’s from the CFCF set, but it’s a regular production size. I guess I’m not sure in the past how those have been handled in terms of MSRP and rarity.

Can any of you guys with more experience weigh in on this one? I’m thinking it’s probably ok, but I’m not sure.

In the past they have been treated with the same relative value of the other CF22 sticks (cost/22), with relative rarity knocking it down a bit. In other words, there were several RDC in the 22 set vs. 1 BBMF, making it relatively more common even within the rarer overall category of opus 22 smokes. I think it is a shitty method but ybdmv.

Brent, what's the MSRP on the Paddy 45? I know you asked for more experience folks to weigh in, but I am on the pass, so you'll never shut me up!

I personally wouldn't let it fly. The Paddy 45 is a special limited released cigar, and yes, although the Opus RDC is a part of the fun box set where they are "supposed" to be around $45 a stick, they're a regular production size readily available and MSRP for approximately $15.50 (according to Moki's site). I wouldn't let it fly just because it was part of a fun box... I dunno. It would be like someone putting an Opus Perfecxion X (MSRP approx. $14.50) that was from a fun box and trading it for a $45 dollar cigar. But, it's your pass, and I'm sure CP has run into this problem before.

Nonotrly because the Padron isn't a $45 cigar and isn't very limited. The same thing can be said about cigars like the GoF pyramids from the humidor or the original DCA. Watch what happens with the Don Arturos too once they start appearing again. Not to naysay on your opinion but that isn't the precedent that has been set. As I said, I don't like the precedent but passes aren't about approving trades we like, they are about a) fair practice and b) people getting to try cigars they haven't. If someone wants to put in a cigar I think is overpriced but it is fair, that is life imo.

This is true, precedent is precedent, no need to change it now. As a side note, if the Don Arturos do pop up again, I'm buying them just to throw at people. Those cigars weren't as awesome as I expected them to be. :(

Trust-raped by Carlito again.
