Contest ~ Enjoy!

I admire your persistence Jim.

I guess what's on offer is not sufficient for folks to enter, would the entries triple if the pot was sweetened :sign:

Brian

I think they might, but all I have left is dog rockets :sign:.

Jim

I know you LMAO!!! I can not understand why people are not posting. Oh well I am sure that when I post the bonus :whistling: tonight people will step up.

Jim

48 Hours to go... Heres to hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks again...

Brian

Oh, did I mention that the AF 13 is from the original bunch with a numbered band, not the ones from Casa Fuente (these bands have 2005), I think I may have forgotten to put that out there.

Jim

Sorry Jim for not participating, but I don't type well enough to tell my story.

Brian

My votes in order:

1) Breedy's "faggy flavoured cigar" story...............True
The only story to make me laugh out loud, and bring tears to my eyes.

2) Nullsmurf's little anecdote about watching the people come down the escalator outside of Casa Fuente...........True
This gave me a nice grin picturing the people coming down the escalator.

3) Jlada's story about catching on fire................False

I'm going to say so, because I seriously doubt that gasoline has such a high flash point after being on his boots for around forty five minutes....Gas has a high evaporation rate. Especially, after walking through the snow for a half hour with a snow blower......Cute story though.

Thanks for including me Jim........Nice contest and prize pack!

1) Breedy's "faggy flavoured cigar" story - True
...don't you just love it when the wife serves up a dish of "humble pie"...?? Sounds like something my wife would do.....

2) Jlada's story about catching on fire - True
I'm guessing if he got gas all over his pants and boots he'd still be somewhat flammable for the 45 mins suggested. Colder temps would slow the evaporation. Nothing like roxing the boxers with the attractive co-worker...!!....

3) Nullsmurf's little anecdote about watching the people come down the escalator outside of Casa Fuente - True.
They piss me off, too. I love it when they wave their hands like they're passing through a cloud of nerve gas or something. Billy Connolly had a bit to say about this......

Nice work one and all, gentlemen.....and, thank you Jim for the contest.....

Best Regards - B.B.S.

I vote the same as John

Thanks for doing the hard work brother!

I'm going to reread all the entries and be back just a little later with my picks. :)

Wilkey

Here are my picks:

1. jlada's "pantsless cigar love" - fake

2. breedy's "faggy flavoured cigar" - real

3. mandypi's "firestarter" - real

Congrats to the eventual winner!

Wilkey

Sorry for the delay! Unless the four other judges have agreed on a winner, I'll post this afternoon. I'll re-read during my lunch hour and give my input if needed.

So as I look at it my voting isn't needed. As I read the results:

1) Breedy

2) JLada

3) Nullsmurf

Is this the way I read the winners, Jim?

It is indeed, now we just need Breedy to chime in and tell us whether the story is true or false. Thanks to all of the Judges for participating it was much, much appreciated!!

Jim

Not that it matters since I didn't win - but mine was true.

I guess the gas really soaked into the leather. Very scary moment when it happened - but now it's just hilarious.

Congrats Breedy............I really enjoyed your story and I'm hoping it was true. If not, you really did a good job of putting a spin on it.

Jlada,
I'm glad you did set the record straight. I wanted to know if that story was true or not. :whistling: Too bad you did not win, you'd be looking at the bonus stick.
