Hope you guys are safe.  I was talking to CJ yesterday and he was saying that the haze of smoke was really bad.

380 homes lost in just the Black Forest fire. The 3 most destructive fires in Colorado history have hit us in less than a year. And we are not even into the dry hot season.

The plume coming off Matt's house looks like that sometimes, but I think we're all good.

It looks like the Black First fire has been somewhat contained. My sister will find out soon what happened to their property. Crossing my fingers.

It's truly all about luck at this point. I wish her all the luck in the world. I know 3 families that have lost everything due to this damn fire. I really hope your sisters place is intact.

Thank you Jason for your sincerity. The fire literally burned to their street. You understand the area. They get to save their property. It also comes with a serious clean up effort, and a ton of emotional survivors guilt so to speak.

Almost 500 homes have burned in this fire alone. And they are starting to look at Arson.

Seems I am missing this one as well, with nothing to do but hope that all my friends are safe.
Glad to know it is contained, kinda, my house is not really affected, as i am on the Carson end of town.
 
Last year, Waldo kicked off just after we bought our house and flew back to Belgium, this year i am once again out of the country, and the wife and kid are away on vacation.
