3 days until the next drawing folks, get you packages out and register before the drawing, because if you don't register your mailings you can't win:

YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR MAILING. Click the "Member Login" link (available at the top of any CigarPool page), which will take you to a login page where you can register your mailing after you have logged in. If you fail to register your mailing before 12:00 Noon MST the Wednesday of the next drawing, you will not be eligible to win that drawing but you will still be expected to mail a cigar to the winner. Failure to deliver a cigar to a winner on two occasions will put your CigarPool membership at risk and your number may be made available to someone else.

Fellow newbies looking for a way to get exposure and possibly over a hundred quality sticks - there are a few open number left so don't be afraid to read the rules and sign up for the pool.

Let's fill the pool up because this week is my time to win!

What would you guys think about someone who wraps brown paper around an unopened priority box that someone else sent to that person over a year ago and sends it to you as your pool winnings?I just dont know what to think, I really think it is kinda cheesy.

edit: P.S I forgot to add almost a month late.

Wow, I am speechless.....

Shady......

Did the cigars make it OK?
I send mines in brown paper wrapped Prioroty boxes (albeit brand new ones).
Thx,
Michael

Oh wow, I didn't read this clearly enough - do you mean they sent the same box, unopened, with the same cigars in it? Wow, worse than cheesy, probably all dried up. I'd be happy to handle that if that's the case...

I re-use the boxes when I have to, but if I read you correctly you're saying this was an unopened box of at least one year old cigars? That's worse than re-gifting, that's cheating the whole idea of the pool.

Congrats Camaroon4me - you stole my victory this time! ;)

CigarPass seem to be dominating the winnings since I joined, I'm next!

Thanks Rob, you have no idea how close I was to dropping out. I just sent out my sticks for the last drawing and was about to send off an e-mail to Mike to take me out. Sure am glad I was too busy to get on the puter the last few days!

My wife was watching me pack up the last package for Doug and said " I thought you were getting out of that", and I told her that as soon as I did, that's when my number would come up!

Thanks in advance to all of the cpass members in the pool, I'm performing a pee-pee dance even as I type.

Wrong..The next one is mine.

I was gonna drop out as well, not because I don't mind sending out sticks, but because the finances are gone and getting worse for the next few months. I figured that if I did, either my numbers would come up or I'd not be able to get them back, so I'm sticking it out ;)

Of course, now you can't drop out - too many people now know where you live! :p

And take to steps to the left - I don't want none of yer dancing to splash over on me!

If I were you, I'd post here who it was AND add a message to the message board on CigarPool. ;)

I second posting about it over on CP's board (the other CP :p )

Okay detectives, see if you can figure out who he is based on the photo above.

He has one number and a buddy of his in a nearby town has another number. Both times I won, his cigar to me came in a box from his buddy's address. Both times, the cigars arrived a month late. Each of these guy has won the pool once, he won it on September 4th of 2003 and his buddy won it June 18th of 2003.

What he did is ridiculous but unfortunately, it doesn't violate the rules in the strictest sense. My guess is both of these guys habitually send their cigars late. They register their mailings on time BUT don't actually send the cigars until two to three weeks later. I believe that is indeed a violation of the rules or if not it's certainlly a violation of the spirit of CigarPool and for that, I'd like to see the both of them booted out. It's crap like this that makes Michael Cook's life miserable for him :( and it's very unfortunate that people like these two act the way they do.

I keep notes on jokers like this and when they win, I treat them they way they treated me ;) You'll notice this when I register my mailing as "something appropriate from the humi in due time"

The fact is it is a slap in the face of the person who sent him these sticks to him for his pool winning, that he never even opened the box and just slapped some brown paper on it and mailed it to me ( what a scumbag).I wonder if he even had it in a humidor for the last year, they seem to be moist enough, I mean they arent hard and dry so I guess he had them in a humidor.

Just call out who it was that sent it! Something like that needs to be made public. I really hope and pray that it wasn't someone from this site, that would be grounds for a beat down. :angry2:

I'm glad I stuck around as well, obviously. You have no idea how close I was to getting out. I had just sent out the winnings to the last one,and was going to email you, but didn't have the time.

Now I HAVE to stay in!

Thanks for all of your hard work Mike, it's appreciated.
Hey, what ever happened to the raffle I had asked you about back in January?
