Well, I just sent an email to cigarpool.com to get on the waiting list. Two people in line before me, so I hope they get theirs soon so I can jump in the pool.

I hope everyone will join me in cheering on the DETROIT PISTONS!

Well, we have another drawing tonight and I noticed that we have quite a few folks that either didn't send off their winnings yet from two weeks ago or just sent them yesterday. I'm at the point pretty soon that I might have to remove myself from the cigar pool to make room for some new guys but I'll give it a few more chances. All I have left to say is come on #02 or #15..... :thumbs:
 
Awwww, Charlie, don't give up yet :p You've only been in for 11 drawings on one number and nine drawings for the 2nd number. So with two numbers, your odds are 1 in 50 which means ya gotta stay in for two years minimum :D

I think I was in for a year and a half before I won the first time then won again five months later.

A win gets you at least $500.00 worth of cigars :0 even more now that the pool is full.

If we could only get SD_Stack to send out his winnings......... :sign:

Oh and another CigarPooler is a member here, Bill Cathcart aka WiliWaliNJ. I came across his name in a very old pass in January 2001.

This means of the 100 numbers in CigarPool 37 of them are held by members of CP :thumbs:

Well, I've been out of contact for awhile, my wife was really bad sick, well- bad back I guess thats still consider "sick"? Anyway, I didn't have a chance to get online for awhile, so you can imagine my surprise when I checked my email today and got a forward from CC86 to say I WON!!!! :D

AHEM! And now, for my acceptance speech.

First and foremost I'd like to GOD, for without him, there would be no leaf to love.
I'd like to thank my parent's, for without them, there would be no TOASTER! ;)
I'd like to thank my agent- alright forget him, screw my agent!
I'd like to thank the guy's who make the lighters we all use and the people who sharpen the cutters we all need and the people who put all those tiny matches into those little boxes :p
And of course my lovely wife and kids, who stuck by me and never gave up on me, or let me give up on myself- even when I thought about quitting, they gave me the hope and the courage to keep on going! ;) LOL! :D

Well, Hell yea that's considered SICK.
You can still function with a cold or belly ache.

*COMPLETELY OFF THREAD TOPIC*

Turns out she has this nerve resting on or near her lower spine (they were unable to determine exactly 100%), and it just got inflamed and literally kept her from moving/walking... I really felt bad for her, she was in ALOT of pain- even with pain killers and muscle relaxers. The Doctor said, short of surgery (which he didn't recommend), there was nothing to do until that nerve calmed down. (This is of course the less technical "layman's terms" diagnosis brought to you by Toaster)

I dont think it's tacky at all, accept that I am tired of seeing the same group of boxes. Lets see one with ALL of them together! :D
Im happy that someone won from our group. Good for you!
In my short time here I have realized that this group is NOT about selfishness and greed. This group is about making friends and enjoying each other's success, and the ability to share stogies with others who appreciate it!

Lets hear about the damage when you receive all of them, I want to see a big center-fold style picture of all those stogies laying spread eagle on a bear skin rug :p :thumbs:

I was looking around in the winners listings, and found a few people that haven't sent in their winnings in quite some time.

I wonder how many weeks you can miss before they give the numbers to someone else.
From what I can tell by looking at it, one person has missed the last 5 drawings straight, going on 6 with this last one.

Maybe the guy is sick, but I would think he would be able to somehow have someone send his sticks in.

........what a shame ???, with other people waiting for numbers...... :lookup:
