Ok Rob just sent me his info... now all I'm waiting on is the arrival of the cigars from Zechbauer. :thumbs:
 
I often check just an hour or two late. I'll probably try and send forward a German smoke and share. :thumbs:
 
The cigars have been sent, barring any problems with US customs you should be receiving them the beginning of next week :thumbs:

I included one of those humidisks for the trip so they should arrive in good shape.

Yes, it is correct.

I'm a LotR's fan from way back, although the moniker was bestowed upon me in 91 by a local BBS sysop. It stuck.

Yeah, I figure I read LOTR at the age of most Potter fans now. Several other boy wizard stories in between.

I'll make sure that some of these smokes are good for books and one or two to enjoy on the shore or in the boat when nothing is biting and disturbing you.

One of those little Zechbauer from the Dominican was pretty good. Like strong BLACK coffee. You know? Just fine tobacco. Went well with some takeout from the India Rasoi.

Did you smoke any of the other German cigars or did you pass them on?

I like the Zechbauer Torpedos (the biggest cigar I sent you) alot. I pick one or two up everytime I'm in Munich.
 
Sent one or two. Handed one to a friend here. Still have the pyramid and it looks GOOD. :D

Well, I was off stomping around in a field letting birds laugh at me when the postperson (PC swissy :)) slipped a note in my box. So... Monday I will pick it up.

Opus XXX <--- mmmmmm thanks!
La Aroma de Cuba corona <--- never tried
A Fuente Cuban Belicoso (Special Sun Grown)??? <--- never seen before

The next two I have no idea...

5.5 X 44 corona no name on the band very light wrapper
I'm guessing one of the german cigars Wurm included???

This one is even harder to describe...

Head and foot are 48 ring, middle is 58 ring. 6 1/8 inches long. The band is marked 11/18.

I am looking forward to trying each and everyone of these :)

I'm pretty sure that this is a Camacho...the 11/18 Diploma I think. It's the same size/shape as the Liberty...I think.

Camacho - 11/18 pretty strong nice full flavor -- definitely a box buy

A de Cuba found these again (marketed by Ashton) Cello is a little yellow, I believe this helps. Mellower than the camacho but a nice round flavor on the palette - possible box buy

A fuente sungrown --- worthy of a box buy IMHO -- growing more spicy here

xXx --- :love: SPICY

The other corona -- German -- I have no idea what you got there.
