CigarPass It Forward Part II

Out of curiosity earlier today I checked the tracking number, to my suprise it was a fast delievery and now I have a package waiting for me to get home to. I pick the kids up from Day Care and get home to a front porch that had every Halloween decoration blown off of it. I make my way to the porch and see an LTD box, I go WTF is this, I push away some of the ruble and I finally see it, the box from Shibumi. I make my way back around to the garage to get in the house, since I can't get through the front door. Once inside I see several cigars, nearly every one of them I have no memory of trying. Now to go searching to find out what they are. I will post back in this Post to list the cigars later this evening. Thanks Jeff for the great packaging and stogies. Phillip

Padron 2000
Padron Fuma
Rocky Patel Edge Maduro
Camacho SLR Maduro Rothchild
Cuesta Rey No. 9 Sungrown
Little Cigar factory - box Press Pyramid - absolutely smells YUMMY!

The only one out of this group that I have tried is the Cuesta Ray. Time to break out the heater and sit in the garage and enjoy a smoke.

OK, who wants some, ya know what I am talking about. Who out there wants some OKIE CLASS?

You have to let me know how you like that. I smoked one of them and it was great. I'd like to see if it's consistant. BTW it's a maduro. The guy who runs the store smokes one of those every day.

I buy 3 or 4 of the petit corona's from there every week. They cost me $3.75 each. Every one has been consistant in every way. Great lunch smoke.

Alrighty then, a package of Okie Class is coming your way. Since I have not sent anything overseas shoot me a PM for any particulars that I will need to do, with the address you want it sent to.

PM sent to Ekans.

Isn't there going to be customs charges and other stuff associated with sending cigars over there?

Just my opinion but Ekans has to move to the USA to be in a pass :whistling:
Start packin.

One other thing I just thought of: How long is it going to take to get this back and forth? I am thinking if I check back next Friday the pass should have arrived.

there shouldn't be any charges for this and yes to be in a pass i'd pretty much have to move somewhere else (if i don't want to pay taxes for all of the cigars in the pass). it takes 4-10 days to get here

When PSTAN fills out the customs form at the PO, if he marks it as Cigars valued at $25-$30, and marks it as a GIFT, there shouldn't be any import duties or taxes on it and if he sends it international air which doesn't cost much more than priority mail, it should get there in less than 10 days...learned this when I shipped cigars to someone in England...furthermore, if he puts a humi-stick or water pillow in the packages the cigars will arrive as good as new...

those are the main points yes but there is more to it, which i already explained to PStan. Thanks though

Ekans, the package will be heading out to you on Monday. Thank you and everyone else for their advice for shipping.

Phillip

Ekans is in my buyer's club, and Lemons and me did a thing way back.

I've only had two problems. One was I wrote Lemon's address wrong and it sat at the PO for two weeks. Changed the address, cigars are always worth 20 US and a gift, and no problem.

Ekans has gotten 2 or 3 (one in the mail) now, I think lol, same as before, although the PO marked something wrong and US customs checked the box going to Ekans and took out a cohiba. I reshipped it to him last week, and hopefully there won't be a problem. just remeber:

state that cigars are worth 20,
no more than 10 cigars, they will have to pay if there is.
it's a gift
and don't let the PO fill out the customs form!

Ekans, coming at you as of 11:30am today, Okie time.
Package is traveling buy US POSTAL SERVICE Global Priority, Customes Label #LC610291468US

If I may make a suggestion; from Ekans this could go to Lemon and then Wurm who could send it back from the base. Just a thought.

Excellent Idea AVB, a great way to get some of the non-continental members involved with the PIF.

Hmmm....i really have to say that i don't see a point there and you may have to wait a week or two before he gets home from the army. I'll ask him if he wants to join.

Didn't see Wurm there, ofcourse i'll ship it to him if it's not against the rules, ViewyPhishy?

Someone needs to catch me up on what's going on. I reread the last few posts and I still can't tell who's got it now and who should be getting it next.
