Hey Guys Im back from my journey and just for fun sake I thought Id check the mail, knowing of course the pass wouldnt be here just yet because it was only sent out on thursday, and well... Of course It is here...

First off, I took inventory on the cigars and everything is perfect. USPS Box included (besides packing materials) Tupperdor W/ Cigars, folder with info and cigar labels, Priority labels, If anyone noticed something missing from this list let me know.

The tupperdor and all the cigars are in great shape. Thanks Blue Dragon for doing a fantastic job in putting this pass together glad I could be a part of it.

Will be making up my mind, checking values for Ps & Ts, PMing Cory with them, and then Posting them here. :thumbs: This baby should be ready to hit the road by monday.

Really enjoy a lot of the HDM lines such as the excalibur series and i really enjoy coronas but this one wasnt quite as good as some of the others still a really good cigar just thought Id throw it in there and see what someone else thought.

I personally enjoy this one and throw it in the mix from time to time. I have always heard great things about the partagas line of cigars and again its a slender cigar like I am into and this one is a really nice smoke its a bit longer than I usually enjoy but still very nice.

36) La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro
LGC wavell Natural Have a box of these LGC Wavell Naturals that I got a while ago. Havent had too many of the Maddies so I thought that I would make a trade. One of the Maddies for a slightly aged(they are at a nice point right now) Natural.

Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 toro
I know the point of this Pass is to put in cigars that you have heard great things about but just dont completely do it for you but on this one I am not exactly going with the premise. I Love this cigar but I didnt have a cigar that was worth in the median range where this one was. I really wanted to try this CAO black but I didnt really want to throw in a Hemi, PAM, or Opus. For $6.00ish dollar cigar the Exodus 1959s are a beaut, they are very nicely boxed pressed and the wrapper is super smooth. Just wanted to get that Black and let someone try this one. Also I know that Devilsmilk wanted to try a Torano cigar so I thought that since Im taking the 1916(havent tried that one myself) Id send this one that way because It is soo good and supposedly even better.

Montecristo Platinum #5
This is a spicy little guy that I enjoy when Im out sometimes and dont have a really long time to spend smoking. For a small cigar it does though burn smoothly and the finish is long for a cigar this size. I have found some others though for cheaper that I like a little better. Has the good burn that usually accompanies Montecristo's though its taste just doesnt match my profile right now.

44) CAO Brazilia Piranha

Great cigar originally bought these because the robusto had the high 93 rating in CA but since have started to enjoy the LADC Coronas more. Thought that Id throw one in there because I dont know about elsewhere but around here its not too often I see these in the local shops.


This is what Im hoping will go out to DevilsMilk tomorrow. DevilsMilk I hope you arent too upset with me taking that 1916, I put a great Torano back in so hopefully you will enjoy it if you decide to take it. Everyone else great Puts before me have given me a tough time deciding what I wanna take and finding stuff in my humi worth putting back in.

I hear the Toranos are great but the local shop never seems to have them for whatever reason...oh yeah I remember now he doesnt like them(pronounced jacka$$) :laugh: I have one in the humi but was saving it for some special occasion because if I smoke it and They are as good as everyone says it will most likely chap my a$$ if I just was sitting outside bs'ing with the neighbor and didnt get to really enjoy it.

I really enjoy those Toranos so far Ive tried the Signature series and the Exodus 1959s I really enjoy those 1959 Torpedos. Mmmmm Soo tasty.

The guy in my local shop say's whenever he smokes a signature he tries to see how far the ash will burn. He say's he's smoked the whole cigar without it dropping.

I have smoked a couple of Toranos; I can't remember which ones off the top of my head. But all of the maduro wrapper ones I have really liked. SteveHawk was nice enough to trade a signature series 1916 w/ me, so I can try it sometime in the future.

He got a fiver off of CBid. Bgarv3, you might want to look there instead of your local shop? Just a thought.

Actually I smoked the one JAEWing sent me and while it was good it was not what I expected and would probably not have picked it unless it was to give it a second chance to make sure it wasnt just a bad moment for it. I am glad you grabbed it, The list has plenty more good smokes for me to try out... Good P & T's.

Well, guys, sorry I've been awol from the forum. All the wedding/honeymoon stress is out and can now just relax. Looked at the line-up coming my way and am already trying to see what comparable puts I have. I'll probably be eyeballing some of the maduros but can't wait to get it. I've had alot of those CAO's and haven't had a bad one. The Brazilia is my favorite as well with the dark wrappers. They just have a spice to them. Anyways looking forward to the box...

Thanks for the rockin sendoff! I think this pass is still travelling around everyone faster than I really expected. When I put together the pass list and listed everyone out, I put a guessed date next to everyone on when I thought the earliest the pass would get to them so I could try to schedule around the pass landing when people would be home from vacations and such. I have Aug. 23rd down for it reaching DM, so DAMN we are cookin, even with it held a couple of extra days on purpose. :thumbs:

It looks like it will make it back to me in plenty of time for my birthday. I guess I will have to invite some fellow BOTL over and have a mini herf. : :thumbs:

Dude, it is your turn to enjoy the pass, take what interests you. I have seen several cigars jump into the tubidor that I have been curious to try and then see them jump out shortly thereafter. It is kind of fun; I don't really know what it is going to look like for sure when it gets back to me. It is the ever-changing suprise. I figure that if my curiosity is peaked enough by a cigar, then I will just have to go try it out.

So I smoked a CAO Brazilia GOL! last night. It is a pretty good cigar. Very strong, full bodied, burns well, tasts good. I didn't find it too spicy though; I thought the CAO Italia was spicier than the Brazilia. I seem to like the Brazilia better.

Right now I am trying out a Private Stock by Davidoff #14. I am guessing it is a second of something, but really don't know. I really like this cigar. It is more of a medium-mild bodied cigar. It burns really evenly, but it doesn't hold the ash together very well at all. It seems like a good anytime smoke.
