I don't want to be a dick about this but I don't quite buy that you sent it out. You have to fill out the receipt when you send a package certified and return receipt. You keep that, it has the dc# on it. Are you sending out the pass or are you bringing it back to me?I don't understand why you respond to Allen's PM but don't respond to my request for you to call me. A little honesty would go a long way with me right now. I'm sorry I have to be so harsh but if you were to busy you shouldn't have go involved with my pass. Please Post and let us all know what you are going to do!

I have to agree with Smoky. I don't mean to lay into Drew regarding this whole thing, but he really fumbled this one. Too many excuses which seem a little hard to believe and there wasn't good communication with Smoky or the rest of us what was going on which led to some anxiety about where the $600 worth of cigars are. What I also find interesting is that a couple of us saw that he was on the board at different times, but for whatever reason, chose not to respond or communicate what the status was on his end. I for one, will be very relieved (particularly for Smoky) when the next person receives the package. This may highlight why new members often don't get included in passes.
 
Thanks for getting it out Drew. Don't be so hard on him. I'm more of a newbie than he is and I started the damn thing. I got a special treat in Honduras that I got to blend myself. I only got 6 of them and I shared them with the boys at the shop. I'm ordering at least two bundles of them so I will share when I get them in. Lots of ligero, you guys hopefully will enjoy them. As Allen says Come to Papa!
 
I hear ya' Smoky, but I tend to think it's more of an issue about responsbility than it is being new. Nonetheless, it looks like this will soon be behind us and the pass will begin picking up some speed!

Your Honduras blend sounds enticing! :)

i know im not in this pass but heres a hint guys, when youre on brads good side life can be wonderful, :D but the other side of that is a place i wouldnt wanna be ;)

having brad for a friend is a very,very good thing(dag nabit i need a smiley of a guy smokin a cigar!!)

He is a true BOTL.
And the cigars he brought back were very tasty!
 
Brad when are you going to be at outlaw this weekend......i would like to make ends meet.....you guys are my favorite cigar shop.

New or not, some people just aren't motivated enough to get it in gear.

I'm not going to open up the soap opera digest on this subject, but lets all be upfront on our end of the pass. If you hit a snag, post it. No ones gonna hang you out to dry because something came up.

wow been reading several of the ongoing passes. And being new i tell you it makes me nervous to even consider getting involved especially since i live overseas at an apo adress cause the mail here is snail like. Been a pleasure watching all of these passes and how they work . It definately helped me decide to wait a while befor considering participateing.Being new to this forum I will tell you it seems a bit intimidateing especially if your new and dont understand everything about cigars yet.
 
It does take a little while to learn how these passes work (which is good that you're spending time reading the various threads which will help educate you). Also, if you're fairly new to cigars, the passes are usually not the best thing to try and get involved in (since your puts probably won't be on the same caliber as the takes - for most passes). If you want to get your feet wet without taking the full plunge into a pass, I'd recommend the newbie sampler trade (check in the buy/sell/trade part of the forum for details). :)

Indeed, the lost is found!

I took an inventory, slobbered a bit, wiped that off and am happy to report that all is well.

I'll PM Brad with my proposed P/T's then post them later if approved or adjusted etc.

I have added about 20 singles bags and a sharpie to the box, and replaced the humipak in the Padron box.
