So much for that meeting I was supposed to go to on Wednesday night. Instead I'll be home, smoking an SC El Morro in front of the telly watching game six live from Busch Stadium.

They quoted this great statistic last night:
The team that wins game #5 in a best of seven, wins the Division Championship series in NINE out of eleven cases. I wonder if that means the Yankees are done too ???

Very interesting turn of events in the playoffs! I'm still sticking with my prediction.... Yankees and Cards in the Series but in all honesty... I thought the League Championships would've been over already! Great drama so far... I hope it continues into the Series!

I talked to my high school buddy on the phone earlier this evening. He's been a Red Sox season ticket holder for 20 years and I think he's still stuck in traffic on the Mass Pike on his way home from watching the 14 inning marathon :p He told me "If the Astros and the Sox make it to the World Series NO WAY am I taking you to any of the games!" :p so I guess that means I can't get tickets from him :(

So, plan B:
I've got my flight booked for next Monday to be in Houston for games three, four and five of the World Series. Hopefully one of the three BOTL's above will let me sleep on the floor in their garage:p

my cheapest plane ticket is $703 and a single WS ticket ~$600 :(
