Any insurance agents out there?

Long and short Wyatt is you're going to claim damage to XYZ, the adjustor is going to set a replacement or repair price on that. You may haggle on a couple of items, but in the end, they are going to cut you a check. At that point, it is up to you whether you repair, replace or live with the items that were damaged. If you think it was damaged, claim it. If they disagree, they will let you know. Basicly, if you shoot straight, and don't try to get the couch the dog chewed up that never saw water replaced, you'll get a fair settlement.

I'm assuming the coolers floated to the top???

Great advice from everyone thus far. I think that's the way I'm going to operate Matt. I think it'll all work out in the end. I just tried my laptop, won't even attempt to turn on :(

Coolers floated to the top...hehe, you don't think I'd let my most prize possessions sit anywhere on the floor of the basement do you? Nope, humi's were all up high and are doing fine. Though when I called and my wife gave me the news, the first thing she said was.....your cigars are fine.
