I dont think you will catch to much flack for the Monty comment unless you also mean cubans.

I've never had the Fancytales, but I'm a Monte whore so I had to try it, even if it isn't Cuban. I've also never had a Diamond Crown Maduro.

Sleepyjim, I'll get this out to you tomorrow. I'm stuck at school here all day, so the PO will be closed when I get out.

I'm a huge Monte fan - and I had to get the Fancytales when I saw it. It's got a really strange shape to it (kinda stange shaped ends and smaller ring gauge - along the lines of a "Figurado") - I think the wrapper is dark and coarse (they say it's "nat", but I guess it's the H2000 wrapper), like the Afrique, Fer De Lance or Buena Fortuna. It has a smaller ring gauge (39), but is I believe a little over 6" long. The one I had had good flavor - but the draw was just a bit tight for me (I guess that comes with the smaller ring gauge). I normally like Churchill or #1 in the Monte's.

I'd never seen anything like it, so I just had to try it... I'm sure you'll enjoy it eShaw, if you're a fan of the darker Monte's out there (it is a "heavier" tasting cigar than most Monte's) but like the Monte's I've had, leaves a nice taste afterwards.

I'm a little P.O.'d right now - because the local shop charged my $8 for the sucker, and I'm seeing them all over the internet for $100.00 for 20...

So this is on it's way to Sleepyjim, right? I am after him and Big100hd and I will do our P/T's in person. I PM'd Shatfield, who is listed after me, at another board and he said he had no idea he was even in on this pass. He said that after he posted to get in he was PM'd with a NO response because he was too new and hasn't been back since. So, I guess I should send it to sfg75 instead per this list?

It's already gone by me, so I may be speaking out of turn, but I'd say you should indeed pass up Shatfield. I hate to see that he decided to leave the board, though, just because he couldn't get in on the pass.

What do you say, Todd (Mephiston)?
