A comment on Puts/Takes

The unwritten part of Rule # 2 is: if you enter a pass you are required to send Matt R one fine, aged Havana, no matter what anyone else tells you this must be done. ;)

I have to agree with Matt about the takes/puts with the addition, if you are unsure, then ask the host.

Well this has been a great thread A Big Thank You to Matt for bringing up a delicate topic :D

From day one of joining this board I have been very comfortable with asking for advice when I had any questions regarding puts :D I am sure I have made a mistake or two but the only way you learn is by participating and that can be scary for newbies and some of the guys stepping into new higher end passes. The best advice I can give is if you have doubts ask the originator of the pass (I think that is the curtosy they deserve) but if you are uncomfortable doing that ask one of the more experienced passers and get there opinion. However at some point of time though you have to use your own best judgement :p

The rules (all of them) are there as to give us something always refer back to when in doubt ... and give the newbies some idea of how we operate... I think they are pretty self explanantory :)

The bottom line is about having fun, getting to try 1 or 2 new smokes without having to buy a whole box as well as interacting with some great people from different parts of the country who have come together on a great board (A BIG THANK YOU TO ROD) sharing a passion we all love (sniffle, sniffle tears rolling down my cheek)

Just my own thoughts ...............

lol eabod Gary you fuggin heathen. I don't even QA the p/t in my passes anymore. Who cares when you are never going to see it again anyways?
