Well, I saw the title of this post and thought I should post a few pictures as therapy so maybe I wouldn't do something not fit for print.
I don't like Cats...period! I'm a Dog Guy.
Our daughter volunteered last Spring part time at our local ASPCA to help out a bit, it's a cause/charity we give to 12 months of the year. She's not working there a week when she comes home with a kitten while I was visiting my Mom in Florida for Mother's day....which was subsequently hidden from me when I got back while it lived in her bedroom! I finally found out 2 weeks later when my buddy across the street told me he has seen my daughter coming & going with a small animal carrier. I confronted her and my wife and at that point it was here to stay. I have aptly named this feline, "Stupid Cat"...
It sleeps, constantly, hanging under this metal & glass table we have...hence the name.
While my blind dog Rocco and I are harboring no affection toward this "Stupid Cat" for 4 months, my daughter strikes again. This time I was watching TV downstairs one night and I hear this constant running above me, like a stampede kinda thing. When I called up to my daughter to see what was going on, she said she was fooling around with "Stupid Cat" and Rocco in her room. Well, the next day when she went out with her boyfriend, I went up to her room to retrieve some missing drinking glasses to put in the dishwasher and low-and-behold, what do I find....two kittens in the same damn pet carrier! This time it's a brother and sister pairing...then when I let them out, it was like a tornado! The two of them and "Stoop" went crazy running all over my daughters room...like a stampede! "Feeling his way" upstairs comes Rocco and it's a free for all....that's what I heard the night before! Once again I was over ruled with the "they've been here for 3 weeks already, how can we give them up now" defense. They have been aptly named...
"Boy"
and...
"Girl"
The last time I had cats, I raised them like dogs...and that was after college on a farm. So I'm doing the same thing now...they fetch, roll over, sit, come when called and leave when told. Through this 3 cat ordeal, the other thing I learned is that I'm no longer in control of my own household.
Anyone want some Cats?
