No, the lamp is in my office where it will stay. The point I was making is if the intent would've been to sell it, is there a crime in that? Is there some unwritten rule I missed that I'm the only one on CP to be incriminated for selling something? If I had ANY intent to sell that lamp, it would've been listed in another forum. Period.What would the problem with that be anyway? I mean for Christs sake, someone can't make a product and sell it to people who want it? I mean hell, life as we know it has been based on the thought of a product or service and how to market it. Now that being said, I certainly understand the concept of not gouging a BOTL/SOTL, but my dear Lord, I just don't understand how a freakin' post about look at a lamp I made turned into such an issue. Oh actually I do know, who and how.

That simply because Wade is one of the few who haven't tried to spin his words. Quote me on what you may, my original post was simply one of "hey, look what I made." Being cigars smokers, I just thought some may have interest in seeing it, as it is cigar related.

The request was for "a little respectful dialog directed towards respected members that devote alot of time in adding to CP". Being the FNG here, I don't know who the "respected members" are, though. As I continue to read more posts than I reply to, I start to figure it out, though. The "respected members" in my book are those guys being respectful to the new guys as much as the old guys.
I just though it was funny, honestly, and not even a dig at cohibasurfer. He seemed to have gotten upset because someone wasn't showing respect to the respected members and then told me to not show my ass. Maybe I didn't interpret the meaning of that phrase correctly, but it sounds like he's calling someone as ass.
Anyway... was just funny, as I said. Even as the FNG, I'll only respect those members around here that earn it. The oldest FOG around still has to earn my respect. He could give two shits whether he actually ever earns it or not (meaning he doesn't care about it), but it still has to be earned.
