What would be your 'must haves' to start it off? Mine is not completely empty, but I have been buying samplers mostly so it's a mishmash of stuff.
I would like to start building a quality collection and would love to hear suggestions from the experts. No CC's obviously, I don't have access to ISoM stuff here in the mountains.

A related (kinda) question, I will be in Marco Island, Fl next month - anyone able to recommend a good B&M in that general area? Or even better, anyone local to that area want to meet and have a smoke?

Thanks for reading, hope everyone has a great weekend!

You're lucky to be asking this question on Cigar Pass. Have you participated in the Newbie Trade. You can participate twice, I believe and the guys that run it are top notch brothers with an excellent variety of smokes at their disposal.

Today, for me, I would say Dunbarton, Illusione, Tatuaje, Foundation, Rojas, Roma Craft, Black Label and a whole shitload of others.

I have read up on the newbie trade thread and plan to give it a try in December. Going to be out of town next month and don't want to endanger innocent cigars while I am away 😁

Thanks a ton guys! I have been watching the Todays Smoke thread, and the Todays Cheap Smoke threads among other's and building a 'want' list, these recommendations are going to the top!
Does anyone else find the logistics of tracking inventory and future purchases almost as enjoyable as the hobby itself, or it just me? 😆 I need a spreadsheet to track my spreadsheets!

An update: I've been using the app for a short time now. It's the best cigar tool I didn't know I wanted / needed. Fantastic and thanks again!

I find that I can very quickly add new acquisitions, or I can spend more time pulling documentation like CA ratings and reviews. Obviously the latter takes longer, but enhances the herf experience for me and my sons. Very cool. 😎
