Yes All I did was supply the rock, btw 5/8” rock is no joke when it comes to weight. I had to load and unload 30 sheets and that was an ass whooping. At least I didn’t have to carry it up stairs. I hired out hanging, tape and bed, and texture.Always amazes me how fast people that actually know what they're doing hang it. You hiring out the tape and mud too?
I'm in the process of finishing my basement. Hauling it down the stairs has been the worst part by far. Thankfully my wife is a badass!Yes All I did was supply the rock, btw 5/8” rock is no joke when it comes to weight. I had to load and unload 30 sheets and that was an ass whooping. That’s actually a smart idea.Man cave looks pretty cool! I’m afraid my “boss” might make me stick a cot in there or something lol.
That would be awesome, but what is the climate control like up there, Aaron? I imagine the attic has to get plenty hot in the summer, even with the insulation. That looks awesome Aaron!
I say make a walk in humidor in the small space. Buy 50 pounds of beads and start programing them now so they are ready when you button her up.
It actually an attic that is a walkout attic on the second floor, so now that it’s closed in with AC ducted in, it’s just like any other room in the house. That would be awesome, but what is the climate control like up there, Aaron? Can you show me a picture of the outside entrance to the walkout attic so I can shed the image of someone breaking their neck?It actually an attic that is a walkout attic on the second floor, so now that it’s closed in with AC ducted in, it’s just like any other room in the house.
When I say walk out, I mean there is a door on the second floor that you just open and walk into attic space. Not a pull down access to the third floor attic area. Can you show me a picture of the outside entrance to the walkout attic so I can shed the image of someone breaking their neck?
So it's a walk "in" attic. When I say walk out, I mean there is a door on the second floor that you just open and walk into attic space. Not a pull down access to the third floor attic area.

Ain't gonna lie -- I had to Google that last night to figure out what I was missing. Most realtor listings I found call it a "Walk Up", but I guess it has its own description regionally. Like most things. So it's a walk "in" attic.![]()
Yes, you have to walk through the movie room.Do you have to walk through a bedroom or into a closet to get there?
Was just considering the extra traffic could be a concern. But a movie room seems acceptable, as opposed to walking through a guest bedroom.Yes, you have to walk through the movie room.
