Xicar Warranty

Search is failing me , I know I just saw some one post about xicar warranty.

I have a xicar 552WH that I picked up like 6-7 years ago , worked for a short time quit working and I threw it in a box and forgot about it.

Well today I came across it , I went to xikar's website to submit a claim , The product doesn't come up. Guess I will call them before selecting a different 552.

i just went thru their rma process with them last month with my original xi1 cutter. (they declined to repair it since it's a discontinued model so they offered me several other choices as a replacement <had an xi2 already so got the mtx scissors to try something different> they sent me the mtx and returned my old cutter, which was cool.

anyway, did you try venting the gas out of your lighter? that seems to usually be the major thing that keeps them from working.

Yea , I vented gas out , there is no arc/spark whatever you want to call it

I just went through the same process. Mine kicked the bucket after maybe 7 to 8 years, sent it back (postage was $5.15), waited a couple days after their receipt, for their approval and note that they could not fix it. Sent me a new one. Entire process from mailing it to them to my receipt of the new one took about three weeks.
