meh,
even though i am 20, i am not much of a gamer.
i use to have a Xbox, but sold it around 1 1/2 years ago.
games are just too disapointing; too unrealistic, and too mundane (exception being the Splinter Cell series).
but i do hear the PS3 is suppose to be much better.
unfortunatly though, the last i heard they were having trouble developing some game software, and were also fighting some legal battle against a patent infringment on vibration controllers.
there are all these issues delaying the release date of the PS3.
also, you mention that the only difference is hi-def; isn't that pretty much the only difference in all game systems? as systems progress (PS1->PS2, N64->Gamecube), the only real difference i see is that the graphics are getting better. gameplay itself, tends to be the same. i mean, i am not comparing this to old Sega Genesis systems; gameplay has obviously changed alot since then.
however, i'd rather just buy some nice cigars
