OK all you soccer fans, the World Cup has officially kicked off! Very entertaining first game that Germany won 4-2 against Costa Rica!

I'll be supporting Italy who kick off on Monday!

Forza Azzurri!!!

VIVA ITALIA ... let's just hope Totti doesn't spit in anyones face!

I put $25 bucks on Bosnia to win the whole thing, just for shits and giggles. If they win I get a cool $2500.00 back !

Normally I would be supporting the Azure Blue of my beloved Italia, however, the USA is ranked 5th in the world, yes you read that right, So...USA, USA,USA.

Doc.

Poland all the way in this next game.

Overall, have to pull for the USA though.

edit: to join Doc in his chant of USA,USA,USA.

IM very excited.

Looks to be a promising world cup.

Hopefully a majority of the games are broadcast in HD..

TOo bad USA got a pretty tough group..

Don't worry Doc, you can support Italy in the 2nd round once the U.S. is eliminated!

World Cup? That's that commie game they teach 10 year old girls to play nowadays, right? Where everybody runs around the field for an hour and most of the games end up with no score? I forget what they call it. Is it "metric football"?

Game 1 was 4-2!
Game 2 is 1-0 at halftime!

Bah!

I missed the England game because I mixed up the start times. Argentina Vs Ivory Coast is sure to be a scorcher. Will be watching with a fridge full of Shiner Bock and a (Honduras) Punch Double Corona.

Have high expectations for US this year, but will not be too dissapointed if they fail to move on. More excitedly, I'm looking forward to 2010 when Freddy Adu slides onto the roster.
