Alrighty,

My itinerary is set and is as follows: I'll be in the Portland area day and evening of March 25th (B.B.S, PM incoming) and in Vancouver for the evenings of 3/26-2/28. Flying back home on the morning of the 29th. I'll be travelling alone so consider me a free (smoking) man. :D

Hope to meet some of you folks during my visit.

One of my research projects got accepted for a poster session at the 2008 International Society on Infant Studies in Vancouver, Canada. I'll be there, hopefully with my family from March 26-29, give or take a few days. I know it's a bit far off in the future, but I'd surely love to meet up with some of the local CigarPass folks during the week.

Forget the work, I hear there's good Chinese grub to be had in Vancouver. It's been a dream of mine to go there and just gorge on the food for 48 hours straight.

Congrats man, Vancouver rocks! We (my mom and I) were there for a few days after our cruise May 07 and it was wonderful. She's disabled, and though she can get around her back locks up easily (two vertebea removed, etc...) so we didn't get around as much as I had hoped, but that's just an excuse to go back. We hit Stanley Park, the Aquarium and the Gardens. Of course I made it to the Vancouver Cigar Co. (Have an address and such if you want it).

You'll love it!

Sin City of the Pac Northwest! You might have to visit the gardens with the family but single guys can blow it out!
 
That's great. And congrats on having your project selected. I had a buddy go to school in Victoria (visit while you are there...the ferry ride is just breathtaking) and we partied like rockstars. One bit of advice. Keep your vehicle out of the Gas Light district after dark. The junkies and prostitutes swarm there and will steal anything that isn't welded down.

Well, that sets this one up...!! I say we have a herf here at Casa B.B.S. on the evening of the 25th for any and all that want to attend. We may "take it on the road" over to one of PDX's nice cigar friendly establishments but I'd like to think this is one of them...??...!!

I think I have some Salmon left. :whistling:

I think I'll have to make this. As of now I'm thinking of heading down Friday after work and then leaving on the 26th. If the HERF de Casa BBS is pushed closer towards the other weekend, even on the 26th, I could leave work early and then stay for the last half of the week. But either way, I'll do my damnedest to make it. :thumbs:
 
RSVP!!!!!!

Once you get a good itinerary (when do we start, early morn, noon, afternoon?) I'll plan it with my boss and be set up at Costco.

PS: To anyone confused by this post, I drive a truck for a company with a dedicated run to Costcos in the Portland area, and Tom happens to live within driving distance of one of them.


ETA: Am I correct that we will be herfing TUESDAY the 25th of March? I just want to be sure because my boss is gonna go, "WTF Mate?" but I have vacation days, so she can't not give them to me.
