Glad it was well received. That bottle is definitely one I look forward to. Tobin James is a great little winery, with great peeps, that I found a few years ago. No distribution out east but, you might be able to find a bottle or two in your neck of the woods.

I am a member of their wine club they produce some good stuff, and the bottle of the dusi zin I sent out is really good.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it.

I am sure you will be glad you found out about them, I know I am.

I have actually heard of Tobin James before, just never tried any of their stuff. I have heard that they are pretty good...I will let you know when I pop the cork and enjoy the bottle!

I really enjoy their stuff, they have a cab franc / syrah meritage that is outstanding.

Interesting looking Red. A 2006 Ruby Hill Winery Monterey Merlot. Very nice choice, Thank You! My wife and I will enjoy this thoroughly.

In the future, you might not want to pack the Hemingway Classic Nattie in the same compartment with the loose wine bottle. :laugh:

Sorry bro!. I will make it up to you. I will get a replacement stick or 2 in the mail to you tomorrow. I packed the wine in the same fashion that I received the bottle and stick from Gregg, so I didn't think that it would have been an issue. My package came with no damage....I guess you live and learn, I will not make that mistake in the future...

That bottle is one of my favorites, the winery is on the small side (for cali wineries), but they put out some great wine. Hope you enjoy it!

Don't sweat it too much Jeff..............Live and learn I say. You followed through on your end as a newbie and that's what's important in my book.

I did notice that it came from small batches/small winery. Some of the best little gems my wife and I have found did come from smaller wineries.

Thanks for the kind words, but I don't feel right ending the PIF in this manner. It would make me feel better knowing that I sent you a stick that you can actually smoke, instead of having to toss now.
