My assignment as Chaplain at the apartment complex ended on Feb 28. I’ll miss it but I’ve built some great friendships with the residents that I will continue to enjoy. So, the question is what to do with my time now? Well, as it turns out, there’s a new B&M opening Saturday in Arlington and I‘ll be speaking with the owners tonight about a part time position. Time to put my CigarPass training to the test! This should be fun.

Thank you for all the well wishes and especially the prayers. It's not a done deal yet. It all depends on what we can work out but come on, it's a cigar shop, I really can't see myself holding out for much more than the chance to get paid for smokin' cigars, talking about cigars, getting paid for smoking cigars, and...well buying cigars with an employee discount!!

Hmmm...Newbie/FOG hostilities may be looming on the horizon again.

Viva La Revolucion!!

Good luck with the new deal. Although it is not in the bag yet, I am not sure how they could turn you down.

What are the cross-roads? I am down there somewhat frequently, and if I know I am close by, I will look you up for a mini-herf...

Thanks guys, things went pretty well, and the store will be opening on Saturday but...the humidor is very light at the moment. There was an unexpected licensing issue and they're just not ready to open the humi yet. They'll let me know as soon as the kinks get worked out.

There's a gift shop on the first floor with a game room in the back. That's the part they're opening tomorrow. Upstairs is where the humi and lounge area are. The lounge has two rooms, a media room for watching the games and behind that is the billiards and poker room. In all a pretty nice set up when it's all ready to go. This will be a great learning experience. Seeing what it takes to open a shop from the ground up.
