Why you can't smoke a cigar backwards

I move that the Great Professor Wilky is entitled to his very own forum, instead of sticky post...

Great information. Cigar University; class is in session.

I too was a little tipsy 4th of july and lit the wrong end of my la aurora preferido and it stayed together just fine, problem was it was hot and bitter on lighting worked it's way tasty then ended boring and bland.
There is an explanation of why you might have experienced exactly this progression. And not because you were knackered, either.

Wilkey

the label was on too, if it was off I probably wouldn't have known.

I was hit on by a friend of a friend that night too, a dude... hilarious. no we didn't hook up

Strange. I've smoked cigars backwards before,a nd they held together just fine.

It's the only time I've "tried" it and it wasn't the best experience. Maybe something to do with the shape of the Taco vitola versus a typical straight sided vitola.

It definitely had a strange taste progression to. It was neat to have done once I was committed but I don't think I would bother doing it again on purpose.
