What about what's in the locker at The Outlaw??? ;)

Oh yeah there's no cigars in there...what on Earth was I thinking!?!?!?!?!!? :)

I am still a newbie to cigars, but am very enthusiastic. I became serious while in Iraq for my second time (around Feb 06). Here are some pics of the humis and sticks I have accumulated so far.

This is my first humi. I bought it while in Iraq and had it mailed to my home in the US. It has some of the contents of the very first box of ISOMs that I bought (RyJ Mille Fleurs), along with a couple of MC #4s, and many of my everyday ISOMs - JLP Brevas. The small ones in cello are something my wife picked up last time we went to the local B&M.

This is the second one I bought after I got home. I thought I needed more space. I now regret getting the glass top, as it causes the temp inside to rise above 80 unless I keep it in the closet (and I do). This has a lot of misc cigars, mostly DR. Bought them before I realized I preferred Hondurans better.

My Third humi stays in the den downstairs, inside a hidden cabinet. Not because it contains anything real special. That was just the most convenient place. This has one of my favorite Honuran selection - all of the 54's (554, 654, 754)from the JR weekly special a few weeks ago. Bolivar Confradia Oscuros. A few Flor De A Allones that I am checking the aging difference from my coolidor, and the last 3 Soprano Bosses that I picked up while on a business trip to NJ.

And last is my 45qt coolidor. My brother-in-law helped my line it with mahogony - couldn't find spanish cedar locally (within 100 miles). I read about wood quite a bit and learned that it has the same characteristics as Spanish cedar (helping maintain humidity), just no the aroma. Keeps a pretty contant 68-70% using the heartfelt beads. L-R, top-bottom. The 1st box of RyJ that I ever bought (or what is left of them; VSG Robustos (not impressed); HON SLR Coronas; 2nd box of MC #4s; 5x3pk each MC #2 and Edmundos (both from late 05 and both still need much aging - I have smoke 2 of each so far); the rest of the Flor De A Allones Favoritos that are in my den humi; and last, but certainly not least are my absolute favorites so far -- H Upmann Conn #1s. I have about 19 of the 25 left. I have to pace myself with these. Each time I smoke one, I don't want to stop with one.

Thumbs up to everyone. I really dig the LFD box press one of my favorite smokes. Can't wait to get my new humi, the wife gave me the go ahead to get a large, 3000 or so count. Then she says what the hell, and she said she is gonna pay for it. SWEET, bad thing is I have to wait until late July to order it. UGH

She sounds like a keeper :p

For one that hates cigars but knows I love em. I would have to to say "HELL YA SHE'S A KEEPER"

New Year, time for a bump!

This is called the All Terrain Humidor. Here's what little info I could find about it:

Controlled Environments Cigar Humidors
All Terrain Humidor/$129
(800) 876-8789

Capacity: 125
Interior: Spanish cedar
Humidification: CedarBag humidifier with polymers
Details: Two dividers, no hygrometer
Score: C

The All Terrain Humidor (ATH) is the oddball of the bunch. It's an old ammunition box that's fitted with a cedar insert and two dividers that, when in use, force you to store cigars vertically. The ATH's capacity increases and cigars are better protected when the ill-conceived dividers are removed. The humidity source is a sack that's filled with "special moisture retention polymers," according to the instructions. Whatever it is, it overhumidifies the box, which is truly airtight. The ATH must be opened frequently to avoid mustiness and, eventually, mold growth. Still, the ATH has its place. It is large, making it perfect for a group fishing trip or an extended vacation, but it is inadequate for long-term storage.

I also have another desktop filled up. I'm going to buy a fridge in the upcoming months, but until then, the ATH holds humidity like a champ. I'll snap an inside pic soon.
