nice reviews, marito. (oh, and welcome!)
wow, sounds like a possible explanation for why 26's are so difficult to find...they're all in NYC, many in your collection...and for msrp?!
so, have you got an order in for the 40th anniversary humidor?? looking forward to reading reviews (and comparisons to the regular 26's) by the "experts" like yourself and moki.
I haven't had the pleasure of trying a millennium (and it doesn't look likely that I ever will), so I can only say that in comparing the ten 26's that I've burned through (two maduro sampler boxes) to the probably-less-than forty 64's (box of diplomaticos, a sampler box, and a few assorted singles) that I've smoked, the nod goes to the 26's for their robustness and spice, but not by a long shot.
I guess I could do a better comparison if I smoke two similary-sized cigars, one from each line in the same session. (i.e.- a No. 2 vs. an Exclusivo)
one of these days I need to break down and try some naturals from both the 26 & 64 lines. I've sorta just fallen for the hype (aka- general consensus), which rates the maduros significantly higher than the naturals.
I'll add that I find little to complain about (with price in mind) with the 5000 maduros. even if I could find 26's or 64's easily, smoking them on a regular basis would have me filing chapter 7 in no time!
