My third and I guess final Cbid shipment of the year came in today. I decided this was the final because of monetary issues, not because of what I am about to post. This was decided before I even recieved my package today.

I got a buncha cigars, however, the shipment came in and all the cigars were not packed properly (i.e. no form of padding, no foam peanuts, no bubble wrap, nothing)

and out of the entire shipment, thankfully only two had the most damage, the others were still smokeable.

Here is one of the two 5 packs that are unacceptable to me, the Free Cuba torpedo $5

And here is the second 5 pack, Gurkha Ltd. Expedition torpedo $9

Other stuff had little damage, but still salvageable. I was mainly upset at the Gurkhas because I was going to bring them to the Herf on Dec. 4th. An email will be sent to Cigarbid.com customer service promptly.

It's kinda odd because my first two shipments came without a problem, all bubble wrapped and everything.

edit - yeah, I know my pictures are blurry, but you can still see the damage on the gurkhas, and the free cuba sticks had a crack down theside all the way to the middle of the stick. I know I'm arguing over 14 bucks, but damn, I wish they had taken full responsibility and bubble wrapped my stuff with utmost care.

I had my B&M order me the Brazila vs. Italia gift box about a month ago. They called today to say it was in. I heard the MSRP on these was around $100 so I was expecting to pay $135 with the 35% Utah tobacco tax. She only charged me $50.00 for the five cigar set and threw in the Bratalia hat as well. :thumbs:

While I was there, I grabbed 3 pairs of various sized Opus X and a Fuente Toast Across America 2004 Opus/DC Max set. Because those were from the charity event, I did not have to pay tax on em'.
