What's on your plate today?

Gorgonzola cheese on a burger is the best with 4 strips of thick cut pepper bacon on an onion roll.

So damn good!

Cheers,
Paul

I love a thick slice of it melted on top of a grilled ribeye, too. :)

Liked that Vietnamese fish on cauliflower rice so much I made it again today, but this time with equal parts fish sauce, toasted sesame oil, brown sugar and gochujang. Spicy! Used up my sesame oil last time so I splurged on some really good stuff this time, and could really taste the difference.

Fathers day meal:

Grilled Ribeyes (which my daughter wanted to try a piece, without fat, hence the missing piece in the middle).
Jalapeno poppers (Cream cheese, shredded sharp cheese, stuffed inside a jalapeno, wrapped in bacon).
Loaded cauliflower (something my wife made, which was pretty good actually).
Potatoes and onions (cooked on the grill, in aluminum foil).

Overall, great dinner.

Diets don't have to be boring when you can cook:

Swordfish steaks braised in Vietnamese-style sauce with parmesan-crusted eggplant, summer squash, and tomatillos.

I'd heard and read about it a long time ago but that was the most detailed article I've read about it. Thanks for the link! I put Zankou right up there with In N Out for fast food musts for visitors to LA.

I had a food coma last night.. These were good!

Marinated a Flank steak for 2 hours (beer, lemon juice, orange juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, kosher salt, chopped cilantro, garlic and scallions.)
