I got cinnamon and other spice tones. It was different, but I really enjoyed it.

What are your thoughts? I enjoy jw black quite a bit. Seems that every time I go to grab it I end up spending $10-20 more and grab something else. A couple weeks back I had it in my hands but, ended up grabbing glendronach 12. (which I have not opened yet)

Enjoying a couple fingers of lag 16 de 1996. It is definitely real good stuff but, I think I prefer the standard slightly more. The pronounced sherry tail tastes a little off for my palate. Probably because I am accustomed to the standard and my taste buds are looking for the same peaty finish. This will probably change as I get deeper into the bottle. Either way it is an extremely tasty dram.
