What Specials Would You Like To See?

Those look like my ideas!
If they are, I'll run a contest for "my" 5'er of "Snob Cigars" for the newbs.

Those prices are amazing!!! Thanks man!! Are these prices with shipping?

Based on what he has stated before on other deals, I don't believe he includes shipping in his prices. Am I right Gabriel? If so, what do you charge?

Shipping charges range from $6 to $8, whatever FedEx charges.
I dont make anything on the shipping.

I believe there are some great cigars in the lower shelf of the humi even great opportunities in the bundle category! What about a Unico sampler for example? 5rs are the best way to give you a chance to experiment with any brand.

Hoyo Excaliber line comes to mind, Montesino, La Gloria Cubana, Partagas (even thou I am predisposed to the Serie S line). Last but not least the AF line I think offers some of the best prices below the top self.

Nice sampler packs.

It's not easy coming up with themed samplers that are truly unique. You've done a good job playing with the count and the brand to add some variety. But let me toss out yet another idea.

How about taster's samplers. For example, a "chocolate and coffee" sampler with sticks that are reputed to prominently display these tastes. Other ideas might be "pepper and spice" "deep tobacco" "sweet wood" "tangy and spicy" "the strongest of the strong" or, provide cigars that span a flavor category so the smoker can get an idea of "lots of pepper" versus "just a bit of pepper." You get the idea.

To my knowledge, no one has done this. But if you can get some concensus as to cigars that fall into these categories, it might allow newbs and others to fine tune their tasting skills a bit.

:D So who won???? :D
LOL I need to talk to the wife those samplers are looking taste!

I'd like so see one of two things:

How about an "Around the World Sampler" with one cigar from each of a few different locations (DR, Mexico, etc...)? It would be a good opportunity for people to see what the differences are in taste from different locations

Also, I'd like to see a "Hidden Gem" sampler. A sampler of some not so well known cigars that some of newbies may not be on to yet. Five of the not so popular brands that are both tasty and a great value. Maybe help some of us guys find a new go to cigar.

How about samplers by strength, or like Gumbeaux suggested a sampler of puros (either all different Nic puros for example, or a 5'er with 1 each from a different country). Did that make any sense? I'm tired.

Damn guys great ideas! Now as we all have different tastes, I need your feed back as to what cigars you would classify under the following categories that Ginseng came up with.

"chocolate and coffee"
"pepper and spice"
"deep tobacco"
"sweet wood"
"tangy and spicy"
"the strongest of the strong"

The contest is not over but I think its going to be ginseng

Thanks Gabriel, that would be cool.

By the way, I want to make it crystal clear that since I presented the idea of flavor-themed tasters' samplers in your thread soliciting ideas for different sampler packs, I consider the first right of use for any new, unique or nontrivial ideas to be yours and yours alone. Clearly this is an open forum and intellectual property is not really an issue, but what is relevant is integrity regarding where ideas are presented and who should rightfully have first crack at implementing them. If you're the one to put in the effort and put up the cigars then you should be the first to reap the fruits of that investment.

I would expect that the community members will appreciate this and act accordingly. I have faith that they will.

So bring on the samplers, Gabriel. I'm getting mighty tired of smoking Cubans. :whistling:

Just so long as we don't get "too spoiled" with all these great samplers. ???

-D

A few weeks ago, I placed an order with Gabriel and nestled in with my sticks was a very nice bunch of cigars as the prize for this contest. I'm going to enjoy them all. Thanks, Gabriel.
