So, my son, who is now almost 32, was in another room when he was about 9 years old and learning to play guitar at the time, heard me playing Mountain Nantucket sleigh ride while working on a work project, he came in and asked what I was listening to. I quit working (priorities) 90 minutes listening to guitar greats starting with Leslie West, and going through Clapton, Prince, Jimmy Page, Joe Walsh … at the end he said, “Dad, I didn’t know you were so cool!” He had pegged me as a classical or jazz guy. Memories! Pack them in and remember them. They’re fleeting.
This song always confused me. It sounds like a girl talking about another girl but from a male perspective but girls aren't usually thought of as dirtbags. I took it as a gender bending song in 2000.
Another thing weatus did was when they were having problem with their label they put out a record ca;;ed "Suck Fony" think about it. I think this has to be the epitome of contractual obligation albums.
