Before being an internet Guitar masterclass teacher
Before Joining the E Street Band
Before being a high in demand studio and session player
And after joining Neil Young's band at 17 and playing piano on After The Gold Rush

Nils Lofgren fronted the band Grin based out of DC who played the East Coast club circuit many times between 1969 and getting their record deal in '72. While Grin disbanded in '74 Nils solo career continued putting out albums for the next decade until joining the E Street Band in 1984 for the Born In The USA tour
