What SMOKING music are you listening to? (2025)

This has been my favorite album for nocturnal activities for 30 years. Turned down low enough to hear but not really understand it becomes not only erotic but exotic too. Of course, it could be why I've been divorced twice and live alone now but I don't think so. The album mixes New Age electronics with UNESCO field recordings of music from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Solomon Islands, Burundi, Tibesti, region of the Sahara , and the Sahel. region in central Africa. Also, Peter Gabriel contributes some background vocals.

This is the whole album and is well worth a listen especially if you can relax while it is on.

This is my go-to... A little darker and I prefer the Gregorian chants over the more tribal sounds of Deep Forest

I have some too along with real Gregorian chants but they don't have the exotic component that DF does. But hey, it works too.

Edit: I had to go check but I have this in 6 channel DVD Audio.
