What music are you listening to currently?

The new DMB - Come Tomorrow. Sad that Boyd is gone but Buddy Strong is making some killer jams on the keys. Can't wait for concert #2 next month!

The older I get the louder it needs to be. My son and I just hit the Testament-Behemoth-Anthrax-Lamb of God-Slayer show a couple of weeks ago. Slayer and Behemoth are two of my go-to bands right now. If you are into death core stuff then Brojob is hilarious. They will be in town with Whitechapel in a few weeks...unfortunately I will be unable to attend.

Bosstones are still around? I thought Dickey Barrett died, for some reason.

I've been listening to the new Ghost album, "Prequelle", non-stop since it came out on the first of the month. This album is amazing, start to finish.

Having to listen to music of my kids favorite movies. While I enjoy them, it does get annoying after a while.

Went out to Greta Van Fleet last night here in Mpls., fun show and high energy. It's always fun to see a band on stage really enjoying themselves!

I guess the question is, do you think they sound like Led Zeppelin?

Doc

First time I heard them I thought they did. I thought it was a Zeppelin song I was hearing on the radio. My buddy says they sound like the Stones which I don't really pick up on.

Just in the mood for some melancholia last night and John Prine fit the bill.

^ Not bad. I'm hoping this new album suits my tastes better. The last album didn't do much for me. Damn, just reminds me how much I miss Layne Staley's vocals.

The other song released, "So Far Under", is very Dirt'ish. I like TOYK much better, honestly. If someone played these for me and said they were leftover tracks from 1993-1994, I'd believe them.
