My Mother-in-law was over yesterday and asked, "Why do you and Elke buy so many DVDs? Once you watch them once do you really re-watch them often enough to make it worth the money?"
I had to think about it for a min or two and must agree she is for the most part right.
Then again I have movies I've watched over and over so many times that buying the DVD was worth every cent.
My top 5 films to watch over and over are:
1) Tombstone - I just love this film, it has some of the best lines ever scripted.
2) Full Metal Jacket -
3) The Matrix - All the Matrix movies were good, however none of the sequels came close to the first
4) North by Northwest - I love Hitchcock, but this is my favorite of his films.
5) The Last Boyscout - Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans are just brilliant in this film.
So how about you?
