What did you smoke today

Sosa Wavell last night,

Good smoke and would love a few more, but I think I've jacked my palate up. I can hardly taste anything all of a sudden and am having some dry mouth issues.

We'll see how the smoke goes tonight ???
 
After taking the week off to get over a chest cold I hit it hard this weekend. In no particular order:

Tatuaje Cojonu 03
Padilla Miami 8/11 Lancero
Ashton VSG Torpedo
FFOX Perfecxion No.5 (thanks cincycigarman)
Padron 1926 No.6 Maduro

Now I have destroyed my lungs again and have to wait another week :( .
 
Over the weekend I smoked a few excellent cigars;
Padron 1926 Anniversary No. 2 – My first Padron 1926 Anniversary
Partagas Black Magnifico
Ashton VSG Illusion – My first Ashton
Opus X Reserva D’Chateau
 
Palate has been acting funny the last couple of days, so I whipped out an old faithful, Padron 2k.

Still didn't taste right, I think I need to take a few days off and see if it improves.

Wyatt, I hope for your sake you are not experiencing anything similar
to my problem, doesn't sound good!

Partagas 150 corona or something like that. Very mild, thin flavor, hard to detect. Woody, a bit bitter.

Genuine PreEmbargo Counterfeit Cuban robusto. Tasty, peppery, lots of smoke. A decent cheap smoke.

It was a mild evening here in KC, so I sat on the patio and enjoyed a Perdomo Reserve Cameroon R.

That was the Monday special at Casa de Carney, located in lovely Southampton, Massachusetts. (Not pictured - A wife asking "Did you have to pick out the biggest cigar?" and the Redsox getting their asses handed to them by the Detroit Tigers.
 
last night had my 1st maria mancini degaulle..very nice!Especially, for the price.
 
Had me an Anejo 50 for Mr. Peats Virtual Retirement Party and in the hopes of waking up my palate which has been on a 3 day vacation.

It worked! Full of flavor the entire time, no dry mouth or bland taste. I guess I'd just over worked it for the past few days and just needed a slight break. I hope I can stay outta my funk.

Otherwise I guess I'll have to stick to strictly Anejos :laugh:
 
Ashton VSG Illusion. Damn, what a fine cigar. Rich delicious flavor, deep tobacco base and a pronounced sweet, cedar wood overtone. Full of flavor, pungent delicious aroma and poised down to the nub.

If I couldn't have Cubans, I could live well if there were a dozen cigars of this quality for me to smoke.

After the cigar was done, I couldn't stop sniffing the band because it had soaked up all the flavor from the smoking.

What a great freakin' cigar! :thumbs:

Lets see here i started the day with a RyJ Cazadores in which I reviewed and posted about. I havent decided the rest of the line up for the day. :(
