What did you smoke today

Well let's see...smoked about a 1/4" of a fake Cohiba Sublime EL 2004 (tear rolled down my cheek), not quite a 1/2" of what I believe to have been a fake RYJ Escudos 2007 (yet another tear), a genuine RYJ Escudos 2007 (smiling again :D ) and a Padilla 68 series.

I had a great (first for me as a) Father's Day -- ended it with a Padron 1964 Exclusivo Maduro and an Opus X Perfecxion #5.

I was given one of those Sancha Panza three packs that come in a small box. On Saturday I had the first two and on Sunday I had the last one with the following thoughts:

Valiente - Natural wrapper, box pressed and well constructed. It was light on smoke and flavor. Not a bad cigar but not something I would look to buy.

Pamplona - Maduro, box pressed and, again, well constructed. This one was about perfect in the amount of smoke and flavor. For a short cigar it was excellent and I would look to buy in the future.

Extra Fuerte - Darker natural wrapper, box pressed and, yet again, well constructed. I thought this was one of the best cheaper cigars that I have had in a while. This thing was packed with flavor. I am not going to call it sweet. I am not going to call it spicy. I am just going to say packed with flavor. I would definitely look to buy in the future.

A special day as a father ( to my two dogs) and because it was Sunday of the U.S.Open I enjoyed a Reserva J21 and an Anejo 55. Both were great. BTW the open has an 18 hole playoff tomorrow because Tiger stuffed a birdie on the last so I believe I get to do it again tomorrow!

These are all great bang for the buck smokes. The natty is a little light for me, but really an excellent value.
The Fuerte is full of flavor like you say. I've been considering getting a box of the cordoba. Good, satisfying, fairly quick smoke.

I had a Litto Gomez small batch #1. I wasnt crazy about it.

Today, El Credito short churchill, the second of La Gloria Habana. Stunner, quite the complicated cigar after a few months in the humidor. (Immediately after arriving, of course, they're dried out and horrid). Yesterday, Liga IV Almirante, see the review elsewhere in the forums.

Ashton Aged Cabinet Selection No. 6 - not too shabby, the flavor profile changes nicely throughout the smoke. Not really worth the price tag IMHO, I'll stick with the VSGs.

1st smoke this morning was another Hemingway Classic Maduro. I can't get enough of these.

I am getting ready to smoke my first Johnny-O. I haven't been this excited to burn one in a long time...

Had a Casa Fuente Corona Gorda and '06 Anejo #46 (more importantly, no tar from this one) over the w/e. Neither sucked.

I had my first Padron 2000 today. I wish someone told me about these earlier :whistling: . I guess I've been paying too much for a good cigar.
Very good cigar, particularly for the money. I have one left in my humi, with about 2 1/2 years on it. If you can put a box a way for a while, these are even more of a treat!

After grilling hamburgers for dinner, I sat out on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful KC evening with a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Petite Corona.

A RASS this afternoon while working and getting ready to go smoke a WOAM with a glass or two of a nice red Zin. Not a bad way to spend the day! ;)

I enjoyed a Monte D LE 2005 that was gifted to me in the Make-A-Wish thread. Beautiful smoke.

Had a Devil's Weed Jerez on the course this morning. Just finished a Cabaiguan Maduro robo with a glass of Black Bottle 10. This is a great cigar...same Tat strength but very smooth. Very enjoyable!!!

Cabaiguan Guapo RX....this is my favorite Guapo size.

Here is some porn from my new camera :)
