Finishing up a tri-pressed Trilogy "Authentic Corojo". Surprisingly good smoke, and well priced....I have another, just a normal parejo. If it's as good, this one might become a staple.
I had a "Pryme" robusto last night. Long story short, it was not good.
I have a road trip this weekend and here's the lineup
Today I'll start with one of my all-time favorites, an AVO tubo #5 from 2002, then after dinner a Hemingway Signature from 2001. Sunday on the drive home an Ashton 8-9-8 also from 2001 to start the day followed by a late afternoon Monte #2, specific vintage unknown but it's at least old enough to go to kindergarten.
All of this overbuying and aging of smokes is starting to pay off
just had my 1st 1926 Padron #2 maduro, DAYUM what a fine smoke, i now see why these sticks are so much in demand, one of the best i've ever smoked
Out of all the Padron's, that is my favorite. I've smoked them all and still think the 1926 #2 Maduro is the top of them all. I never keep them in the humidor as I always get one when I am at the Outlaw. But when I smoke one I always have a nice Cafe Mocha to tag along with the Padron.
So today I decided on something light. A JdN Antano and I forgot the size as I just smoke the cigar. I haven't decided what tonight will be for the final smoke, but time will tell. Maybe its time to review The Shark!!!
Started off the day with a Padilla Habano Churchill. Wasnt the best Padilla ive ever had. To top off the night I will be burning my last PSD4. mmmMMMMmmm Those are phenomenal.
I started the day with a JdN Antano which was the afternoon. I then cleared my palate off for the opus X Shark which was a complete bust. I decided I had to end the night on a good note so I went with a Opus X Robusto which I am smoking now.
Starting the morning off with a pot of KB's, and a Graycliff Professionale Corona Especiales... Man I love the size (6x38) of this smoke! Smoke itself is so so, but the size is great!!!
I stared the morning with some coffee and a Tatuaje Especiales. Then I had a Cohiba Panetelas with the guys at the lumber yard. I'm headed back out to the shop with an LFD Lancero. Seems to be a day for thin gauge cigars. I've got a couple of buddies coming over this evening. I might have to dip into the Fundadores.
