Professional Poker Tournament Loser
Well the best gift of the non-material sort, was that I got to have my kids xmas eve and christmas day. Being a divorced/remarried dad, the last few years have been ones of "feeling out" whats "right" to do, and they have spent all the christmas eves/mornings since the divorce with their mother and we've spent most of the time arguing out how to split the day, etc. So this year that changed, had one last discussion early this year and now have a specific holiday plan. So I got to do the "Santa" thing with them, they are 6 and 8, and it was a blast. 
Tiring....but a blast hehe.
As for the material side of things, my three best gifts were a Vinotemp Humidor (the ones that are already a humidor from vinotemp), a 44000 BTU patio heater (like the ones some restuarants have outside when its cold), and a colibri cigar torch (I guess so I can quit complaining about the cheap one I have, which I can now see if it gets confiscated on my next trip on an airline lol).
Was a good christmas for me. Now I need another 20 gal propane tank for the patio heater!
