What cigar did you loose your "virginity" to

montesino napoleon- not too shabby imho
i didnt get sick till my first punch champion

Something my sister picked up for me in mexico. There where two of them in a white box, then incased in glass tubes. The brand was "drake" (never heard of them since then, if anyone can help me to find out what they are, that would be awsome)

Anyways, they where god awfull. Tasted like maple leafs and dirt/

My second cigar was was a fake cuban romeo y julieta churchill tubo, which i REALLY enjoyed.

A cohiba in belgium. For a n00b, it was like a $12 kick in the stomach. Smooth draw though, seemed to last forever too.

If I remmeber correctly it was Oliveros -- was way back in the mid 90's

either a macanudo or a short story... hard to remember

hi i'm a rookie to Cigar Pass and this is my first post
my first cigar I ever smoked was a Romeo y Julieta
that was about 6 years ago and haven't looked back I am smokin some great cigars.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

A Punch tubo about five years back in Dallas. Cannot stand most domestic Punch today. When I resumed seriously smoking a couple years ago, I was completely into Cojimar vanilla-sugar dipped and Makers Mark cigars. Hard for me to admit, but true. I obviously cannot stand these anymore either. So my virgin experiences were lousy in hind-site now that I have had more experience. Come to think of it, my virgin sex experience was the same way= good at the time, but awful in retrospect!

Way back in high school: Swisher Sweets

First real cigar: Partagas Deluxe (ISOM)... and I didn't really care for it that much!

My first was a Macanudo Crystal. Now I avoid Mac's like the plague finding them to be completely lacking on flavor. However I do respect the brand because it is what got me started.

RyJ... buddy of mine bought me a cigar when we were on the way to the beach with the wives... I bought the Red Stripe... It was all downhill after that....

HdM's were my fathers favorites... so I picked up one of them a week later.... Then I found JR Alts.... and then this site..... Damn.. I've come a long way... LOL

First "cigar" was either a Dutch master or Middleton Cherry. First real cigar I ever bought was a Don Diego tubo. First real cigar I ever smoked was something my local guy recommended I think an Ashton or Padron. He also recommended most of what have become my top 10 fav NCs. I bought a bunch of them and then let them rest in a small humi that I was overly protective of for about 8 months to a year before I decided that they were meant to be smoked.

My first cigar was a Macanudo that I found while working at a golf course. It was sitting in a cart at the end of the day so I figured I'd fire it up if no one came back to claim it. I don't remember if I liked it or not,...but it got me started!

I had my first cigar when I was a junior in high school. I have no idea what kind it was; I'm pretty sure it was a gag cigar. It was about 7 - 8 inches long and about a 56 - 60 ring guage. It was dryer than hell, cracked while smoking it, and tasted like absolute shit. My best friend at the time busted it out one summer's day and we smoked it while cannoeing on the Missouri river. It was pretty much a joke, but still fun to share the experience. We thought we were pretty damn cool.

So, I wasn't too keen on cigars for a looonnggg time. It wasn't until 1999 during a poker game when a good friend who was a serious cigar smoker busted out some sticks durring a poker game that I found out that cigars could actually taste good and be enjoyable. If I would have kept my first experience with cigars as the measuring stick, I never would have tried them again. My wife probably wishes I would have. :whistling:
