Chimay Grande Reserve in the big bottle. Picked it up in Bruges a few weeks ago. Among the best beers I've ever had.

Edit for spelling grande w/ an e...

Road tripped to Southern Tier on Saturday:

2XIPA
Unearthly Oak Aged(!) IPA
Back Burner barleywine

Yesterday I had an Olde Bluehair - Barrel Aged 2009, Jubel 2010, and J.W. Lees (Port Cask) 2007.
Thanks J-Dawg!

Had a Rush River bottle of IPA today. Unfortunately the waitress did not care to mention that they had the Rush River Double IPA on tap. :sign:

Double Bubble... Good beer.

Mpls Town Hall Masala Mama
Furious
Highland Oatmeal Porter

Mckenney, I am putting you on block because 50% of the time I read your posts you have had something at Town Hall and I instantly want to be there :p

This weekend...Dogfish Head Black & Blue...

How did you like this one? I really like that brewery but have not tried this one yet.

Went to the Alamo Draft House Theater last night to see Killers.

First time visiting such a place, and what a cool concept. The chairs are over sized and really comfortable, with the arms separating the chairs having the ability to tuck away. In front of the chairs runs a bar to put your food and drink on while you watch the movie.

We got there about 45 minutes early to eat and drink.

Had an Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout followed by two Dogfish Head 60 Min IPA's. First go at the Dogfish, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had that citrus finish that kind of reminded me of Surly.

Came home and had a Belgian Dubbel Homebrew.

Movie was funny as hell..........Good time! :)

As far as the DFH Black & Blue goes, I would say it was quite good. While it isn't one of my favorites, it is definitely a very nice ale. It's fruit forward as you would expect, and while I don't exactly taste the blueberries, it definitely does have some fruit forwardness, but definitely much less than the Aprihop or the Festina Peche. But if you are a DFH fan, you should definitely give it a try. Another release I would suggest is the Saison du BUFF...DFHs second best collaborative effort. The best of course being Life & Limb. It's not a really strong beer, but very complex.

And DFH wins over another. If you liked the 60 minute...you gotta try the 90 minute. It's significantly better than the 60.

It's a DAMN shame our laws prohibit them from selling anything but growlers outside of their brewpub. MTH can compete with Surly. Their beers are that good.

Birthday beer: Surly Abrasive. This beer got better from one can to the next. Fantastic work Mr. Haug. As usual.

Been drinking a few Flying Dog Hefeweizens. Decent hefe but doesn't hold a candle to Live Oak Hefe...

Finishing up with a fresh Dale's Pale Ale that is excellent.

Last night I had a 750ml DFH Squall IPA. Pretty darn good.

Victory Prima Pils, Golden Monkey, and some Yuengling lager tonight. Celebrating the end of the first round of summer classes with cigars, beer, and friends

Just drank a Jubel 2010 that was excellent. The doubled up Jubeale was definitely enhanced by the wine barrels. Great stuff. Thanks Mike for hooking me up with an extra one!

Had a bottle of Sierra Nevada 30th last night. Glad I picked up a case of these. Kind of reminds me of Ten Fidy with a higher carbonation level.
