Well, I got out at sunlight because wasn’t sure where to setup with all the rain. It was more of a scouting trip.

I did ok this morning. Easily could have shot a limit, but I was after all Drake Mallards. Ended up shooting two. I noticed all the birds where landing on the other side in a slew. So packed everything up and started the walk to where they were. I jumped about 30 mallards when I arrived. Overall, it was a nice morning to enjoy a RASS.

DFH Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout from the tap. This beer is dangerous! The vanilla and barrel aging does a very good job of masking the 17% ABV. The last time I had it, I don’t even remember how I go to bed. Sooo damn good though!

Avery Brewing Coconut Porter ? ?
It’s a damn good porter, but the coconut is so muted. I wish someone would take the coconut forward flavor profile from Oskar Blues Death By Coconut, and combine it with the ABV % and full body of this porter.

This is crazy. Nothing on the nose but it tastes like an Oreo and it has little white icing floaties in it. May have to get a few more of these.

No kidding! I’m going to have to bribe Freebern for a few more of these. I poured mine, took a sip, and came back to it 45 minutes or more later.... Good call! Was amazing at room temperature. How the hell is this beer 11.9% ABV?
