I thought it would be cool if we shared what beer glasses we used when drinking our favorite beers
and maybe a picture of them.

I dont have a picture yet but I will line up my glasses and post it later tonight

I retired my special beer glasses (goggles) in college. It's never fun to wake up next to a sea-donkey.

You beat me to it Mike!

I still wear the scars proudly.

ETA: My favorite is a Carling beer glass that the bartender in a Pub I was in gave me whilst in the UK a few years ago.

Ok so here are my beer glasses, not goggles

I usually use my pint glasses for ambers, pales, and reds.
My Deschutes, Duval and Watou are used with IPAs, Browns, Belgiums, Porters and Stouts.
My big beers I drink from BFM goblet.
Petrus for sours and lambics, and honestly I haven't used my New Belgium or Chimay yet.

the distributor that i go to gives you the glass that goes with the beer, like the duval glass when you buy duval but my fav is one that i got from a waitress at a bar in florida.
i went to see my godson and it was around the start of the NFL season and they had the pint glasses from Coors that had all the NFL logos and i joked with the waitress that i wanted to steal the glass. Next thing you know she comes back to me with a doggy bag of food but we didnt order anything to go; it was two of the glasses. Score

I'll have to take some pics when I get home, but lately I've been drinking pretty much everything out of the Duvel glass Mike hooked me up with.

Man this is by far my favorite glass and gets the most use ... wide and bulbous at the bottom, and skinny as you raise up and then its mouth open up wide at the top. Yes I am talking about the glass ... sickos :whistling:

I had a few that I store in case of emergencies ... but 1 broke and he other went as a passenger on one of the BIF.
You got the last one Justin. I haven't seen anymore at any of the locals.

I bought my original one that Cael broke when we were at the Stuffed Sandwich. Have you checked there?

Tell that crazy mofo to order some more!

I kind of geek out on glassware. The one glass that I don't have is a thistle. I'd like to find the Celebrator one. A good online place for glassware is John's Grocery.
It's a pretty cool store that's worth a stop if you are driving through Iowa for some reason! This is a good time of year to pick up glasses in gift packs.

From left to right.
I use the Duvel glass a lot. It is good for a lot of different styles, from Belgians to IPAs.
The snifter came from my wife's Grandmother for some golf tournament. I use it a lot for big stouts and barleywines.
I just picked up the Boulevard tulip a couple of weeks ago. It is for their Tank 7 saison. It is a little smaller with a mark for 25cl. I've been liking it.
The original Boulevard Smokestack Chalice is nice for Belgians. I also have a Chimay Chalice.
This is the newer style Smokestack glass. I don't know what you'd call it.

Not a big fan of Stella, but I like this glass.
A tall pilsner.
A Schneider Weizen glass. It allows for the big head you get from German wheat beers, so you can pour a 500ml bottle.
The standard shaker pint (or 14oz. really)
An English pint that really holds a pint.

We have a fair amount of wine glasses as well. I just bought my wife some Reidel pinot glasses, because that is her favorite style of wine.

That beer Nazi scare's me ...
I found another Duval Tulip at my local and got the last one. I will put it away until I need it.

Thats some nice glassware

Well, the SA pint glass is my usual catch-all for my home beer drinking. The German Eagle stein is my pride and joy, but I never drink out of it. The glass on top right is a small pint glass that came in a gift box set for Cascade beer from Australia. Don't remember much about the beer except it was dark and strong. The Kings glass stein gets used when I drink a bomber of something. I took it to Oktoberfest at Alpine Village in Torrance, CA (where the mass is from, obviously) and it turned out to be the perfect vessel there! It cost one ticket to fill up (1 ticket = $5) while the 1 liter masses cost 2 tickets despite only holding a couple ounces more! I like the Alpine Village mass but it's plastic. I must get a glass mass. The plain smaller glass stein was given to me by a buddy and his now ex-wife and I took it camping last trip. The Guinness goblet I bought just because I like the size and feel of it.

Is this the same thing? I may get one. I just ordered a Brooklyn snifter that I can't wait to try out.
