what are you, ethnicity wise?

I'm a first generation Sicilian. You got a problem with that.

Doc.

Half Danish half Italian, the lower half is Italian =)
So you have really hairy legs? ;)

Second generation American here. 1/2 Scot 1/2 German.

I'm frugal, I like beer and sausage, and I look pretty cool playing the bagpipes in my Lederhosen!

okay, good, no irish yet, I can still post on the board :p :p

In all seriousness though there was a big rift where I grew up in NY between Italian and Irish and I'm only 24 years old. It's amazing how that stuff permeates.

Now I just like to joke about it. My fiance' is irish. She eats potatoes right out of the ground.

100% Irish

Gotta love me

My dad is 50/50 Irish and German
100% Italian on my moms side........My Great Grandparents stowed away on a boat over here when they were 13. Started pumping kids out at the age of 14.
I favor my Italian heritage. Hell! I grew up thinking everyone had a wine press in the cellar. I cut my teeth on Uncle Bennies' meatballs and homemade Dago Red Wine.

Actually, I was raised a poor black child in the deep south.

???

100% American. Best guess: 1/8 Danish, around 1/2 German, around 1/4 British, as for the rest God only knows.

I know my dad is 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Polish, and 1/4 Czechoslovakian (I know there is no longer a Czechoslovakia but when my great Grandparents came here there was).

As far as my mom goes, I don't know anything for certain but I'm pretty sure she has some Irish, English, German, and probably a few others in her.

So in summary I'm your average white guy, a mutt. :D

100% Chilean blood but born in the USA.

But I have deep Eurpoean roots - Italian, Turkish, German, etc...

I was born in Guatemala City ,Guatemala C.A.
So that makes me 100% Guatemalan.

My mother's side of the family is Irish-English, supposedly going back (at least) to John Ratcliffe, one-time president of the Jamestown colony and a contemporary of John Smith and Pocahontas.

My ealiest paternal ancestor on American soil was born in 1730-something to immigrants from the Isle of Man. This fact begins the explanation of why I don't speak Spanish in spite of carrying the very-latin-sounding last name of Luna. The original family name was Looney but another early ancestor living in Virginia changed it to Luna ca. 1759, in order to differentiate himself from the other Looneys living in the area. Apparently, the people who send me junk mail in Spanish are completely unaware of this turn of events.

Southern born, Southern bred, but when I die, I'll be Alaskan dead.

Fugger! I had to go back and make sure I wrote "meatball" in my original post. :sign:

Mostly German on my moms side, my dads side is either Irish or Scottish and English. So I have a hot fast temper :D .
